Will two pack n plays fit in a Cat V room? My son's girls will be 1 and 2 on our cruise, and they were planning on putting both of them in pack n plays. Now I'm wondering how that will work, or if it's even allowed?

Thanks!!

Okay, good! Thanks! I hope they have room to walk around, too!! Haha!

There wouldn't be a lot of extra room but it would be doable. I have a pic with one Pack 'n Play set up but it won't let me attach it.

If you didn't plan on pulling out the couch you could probably make it work. When the couch is pulled out you have to walk over the bed to get to the balcony just to give you some perspective. Hope that helps.

Thanks, all! Sounds like maybe they'll be able to do it. But another thought...the two year old will be 3 months shy of 3 - would she be able to sleep on the pull down bunk? I'm really trying to figure this out for their family!!

The pull down bunk is about 4-5 feet off the ground, so it may be a bit high for her at that age. There is a railing, but she may not be comfortable that high off the ground and because of the opening to crawl into the bed (depending on how much she moved around at night) it is possible that she could fall out. She could definitely sleep on the pull out couch, but that takes up a lot of floor space and though you may be able to squeeze a pack n play in there somewhere with it out it would be pretty tight. Really just depends on the kids and how much floor space they want. If they are willing to pull things out every evening and put it back each morning, they could definitely make things work. If they want to leave as is each day they will not have much floor space and will probably be hurdling multiple things to get to the balcony, but maybe that is okay for them. We are going back next week Cat V on the (Dream), I will try to space it out for you and see what might work if you want.

Oh, that would be so kind of you to think to do that on your vacation! If it crosses your mind, I would love to hear your assessment!! :-) We don't sail until Sept, so we have a little time. ;-)

Yes, I'm thinking they may need things out for daytime naps (the baby will be 13 mths). This is the first I've thought about their sleeping arrangement and am suddenly panicking! They aren't ready to move the 2 yr old to a bed yet, bc she still hasn't even tried climbing out of her crib! Of course lots can change in 6 months!

Thank you for your willingness to help!

Not sure how long until your cruise, but a Cat 8 might be better for 2 pack-n-plays. They are just a bit larger inside and that little extra bit might help.

Thanks, we're taking two of our children and their families on the Sept. 5th Fantasy Western. This will be our first time in concierge, so def want to keep that category. We have 3 rooms in a row for our family, (on the bumped out verandah) so super excited about that!

Actually, my DH and I have a Cat T, (and two of our grandsons will be bunking with us) that I suppose would work better for the babies...but just don't quite want to give that up to them!! :P

Here's the pic I wanted to attach earlier. It's from a Cat V on the Dream (12010). You could easily fit two Pack 'n Plays if you moved the chair. There wouldn't be a lot of room to walk around once the sofa bed is pulled out but it would work.

I was wondering how they got 5 people in here! I was thinking the couch was fold down like the non-concierge!

Oh, this helps immensely!!!!! They won't need to open the sofa if both girls are going to be in the pack n plays...so I think there will be plenty of room!! Oh, I feel much better after seeing this! I will show this to them!

Thank you so very much!!

The pull out couch is pretty low to the floor and the stateroom hosts could put rails up. Both kids could sleep on the bed w/out trying to cram two PnP in the room.

We will be staying in a Cat V with a 3 year old and 1 year old in December. My plan is to turn the couch around so it faces the wall for our 3 year old and then set up a pack n' play for the 1 year old.

I don't think the couches move. As noted, you can get rails for the couch if you wish.

Darn, I feel like I read that idea somewhere but it makes sense that the furniture would be immovable.
