I just can't lt someone else get all the attention in our group.
Poor Leslie hurt her knee playing tennis. Se limped around for a few days before going to have the injury checked out. then surgery to repair the tear. She is on the mend now, but she will retain her gimpy, limpy, hoppy title for a little while longer.
But I want a title too!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, last Wednesday I went swimming at Yacht and Beach. I went into water above my head so I tried standing on tip toe. I felt what I thought was a charley horse from my little toe up my calf. Spent the next two days at the park in Richie's electric cart and it still hurts to walk on my right foot.
Well I went to the Dr. today. I tore the tendon running up my outer leg from my toes to mid-calf. I am in a thin cast now until Monday morning when I wil have more x-rays done. If there is no improvement I will have a hard cast for the summer and then possible surgery. Worst thing is, I can't DRIVE. Best thing, PERCOCET!!!!
So Cynthia watch out, your the only healthy one of the Three Caballaros. Of course she is still in DL so we are not sure yet wat she may have one. Peggie

Just can't let either of you go anywhere without supervision - so, the next time you must take one of us healthy members with you!!!

Make sure that you have adult supervision at all times!

Believe me...you do NOT want surgery...been there, done that..didn't get the pin! What a pair we are!!

Well, at least my injury is my left leg so I can drive...you bring the handicap parking pass, I'll drive to RFC on Sunday! Can't push your wheelchair though, that's hard to do on crutches!

Boy that sounds like it hurts! I hope you feel better soon, and mend w/o surgery.

(My leg hurts just thinking about it - and I thought excercising in the water was the safest way not to hurt yourself.)

she was okay. I met up with her for the second time on Wednesday afternoon. She was healthy.........LOL

Well, I AM limping badly but it is only blisters so I expect to be able to chauffeur everyone in August!
