Two moody worlds collide

The birth control I'm on makes me pretty moody. Nothing really bad, but there are things that totally set me off now that didn't bother me before. My dbf has always been the voice of reason. He's very level headed and when I'm in one of my moods, he takes everything I say with a grain of salt. Well, he has pretty severe social anxiety and finally went to a doctor today for it. He was prescribed Paxil. From what I understand one of the side effects of Paxil is moodiness. I'm not overly fond of any of the side effects (that drug looks SCARY! ), but the moodiness is what concerned me the most, since I was doing some research on here and looked up prior Paxil threads. I guess the mood swings are really bad.

So then he calls me and we have the following conversation:

Me: What if we get moody at the same time? We might fight all the time!
DBF: Don't even say that.
Me: But what if it happens? That would be so sad!
DBF: Don't even think about it.
Me: But....
DBF: Don't think about it.
Me: Yeah, but...
DBF: Don't think about it.

So obviously I can't talk about it or think about it, so I came here lol. DBF and I get along great. We NEVER blow up at each other. Sure we have little disagreements here and there...what relationship doesn't...but that's about it.

I don't even know where I'm going with this lol. I guess I should take his advice and not think about it.

Why not see how he reacts to the medicine before you start worrying. He may not have any side effects at all. Which would be a good thing.

That's very good advice. It's just that I have "Worst case scenario" stamped across my forehead . I'm not worrying. Nope. Not me.
