Linda - the Grapefruit Cake was "ehhhh." So-so. I wouldn't get it again.
Ok so anyway - as C and I are walking out of DHS to go to Epcot, we overhear this woman ask her DH who the Osbornes are....now C & I look at each other because of course we figure someone will say "Ozzy & Sharon" but this was even better. The DH, in all sincerity, says "Oh you know, the Osbornes - Donny & Marie!"
We busted up laughing so hard they turned to see what was wrong with us. We had to move off to the side & pretend we were laughing at something else. Yes we laughed so hard we cried!
Off we flew to Epcot where I was meeting PrincessAlways, Jamstew & RedBudLover at the Japan Arch. I had met Jamstew in May, and PrincessAlways last December. It's always fun to reconnect with fellow DIS-ers. Here we are (after getting caught in a rain shower):
Illuminations was breathtaking as always! After the fireworks, we all headed our separate ways out of the park. WAIT - C says she wants to go over to FW to watch the dancing arched lights - you know, the ones that dance to the music. Sure, why not, it's our last night. This was truly one of the most magical Disney moments I've ever had. Those dancing lights are so awesome & mesmerizing. You can feel the music & the beat in your whole body, you have to see it to believe it. Trans Siberian Orchestra's Carol of the Bells (I think they call it Wizards in Winter or something like that) made us both get teary - AGAIN. After awhile we looked around & wondered why no one else was stopping to take in this wondrous spectacle...and realized it was almost midnight! We were so in awe of these lights we stood there for 2 HOURS!! It wasn't EMH so I'm surprised that not one CM asked why we were still there. Boy did we hustle it out the International Gateway. There were actually still a few (very few) guests in the park at that time.
Up next...our last day, the locker run-around & the quest for pretzels!
