I haven't seen this posted before, but on my trip this weekend something happened that I had not seen before. In one of our shows at Ollivanders, two kids were chosen during the same show (including one in our party).
It was pretty neat how they did it. The wizard first came up to the kid in our party and asked which was his "wand arm." Then he paused and asked the kid next to him what his "wand arm" was. He asked both kids to the desk, picked out their wands and each performed a task that misfired.
The wizard then held up the wands, announced he was sure that these were the two wands for the kids and had an "AHA!" moment where he crossed his arms and gave each kid the wand the other kid had used. Cue the Harry Potter music, light and wind show. Of course it was 100 times better than I described it, but it was pretty cool. I've been to about a dozen wand shows, have never known anyone selected until now, and while they have all been unique and fun to watch, this was really cool.
