What are the "coolest" items that will make them part with their hard earned and long saved cash? :bounce:

There hasnt been a trip yet (and there have been many) that my kids didnt buy something in the MIB store. Even I love to look there and sometimes buy too. They have the whole spy gear line and some realy cool guns. Oh and a flashy thing too!

Depends on how old your kids are? The Mummy has a great store they always want stuff at too.

My girl is 10 (&1/2!) and my son is 13.
At Disney they like to collect and trade pins and last year my son ( who is very immature for his age :rotfl2: ) was thrilled to find Stitch ears and hands. I guess it worked out for him because all the girls thought he was cute. :lovestruc
Mummy wasn't open yet last time we were there. What can we find there?

My son (13) got drumsticks at the Hard Rock, a T-shirt that says Adrenaline Junkie on the front and lists the thrill rides on the back, and a key chain from RPR. I also loved (and bought for my nephew ) Thing 1 and Thing 2 t-shirts...they are so cute!

Does Universal "do pins"? :confused3
Last time we were there ( 3 years ago ) I don't remember seeing any.
My son will be all over the Adrenaline Junkie shirt! I hope he doesn't see the drumsticks! :rotfl:
Anything for girls? My daughter isn't into "cute girlie " stuff.

can you get plectrums sp? at the HR? best friend is big on guitars
thanks
tracy

My boys bought quite a few Terminator items in Universal Studios - not bad value either.

Scojos,
I didn't see any plectrums at the HRH - I thought their merchandise would be better actually. It's mostly items with the HRH logo on it, rather than general music items. When we saw the Spinal Tap display in the hotel (which was great) I was sure the store would stock Spinal Tap merchandise but no! That was disappointing.

It is startin to sound like they will come home with alot of their money! :yay:
No, if I know them they will spend it on something -ANYTHING! :goodvibes

Universal has pins everywhere but dont count on the trading thing to happen. We bought pin lanyards years ago and pick up a few each trip, we have a great collection!

The Hulk has a kiosk outside the ride that has some funny tee shirts that the kids love. Most rides have a decent store you exit through. I wouldnt worry about the kids coming home with their money, I dont think that will happen! :teeth:

CityWalk has kiosks and shops too. There is one in particular my kids loved but I cant recall the name. They sold things ALL things that have that neon. One son got a Jets hat that the eblem lit up and blinked. It was a kiosk near the steps in the middle you cant miss it everything is glowing.

The mummy store had tee shirts, jewelry and these very cool magnetic rocks that we bought stock in we have so many. Its a huge store with lots to look at. Toys too but I cant recall what exactly.

I'll ask the kids they recall the cool stuff for kids better.

the Shrek store has cool buys too. Tshirts, donkey ears, shrek ears, bobble heads. Lots of fun.

My kids' favorite souvenirs are MedJai symbol necklaces from ROTM. Shrek ears (or Fiona ears with a little tiara) are cute too.

:thumbsup2 I have a feeling this will be one of our first purchases! My son is a bit small for his age and it seemed like the older teenage girls went gaga  over his Stitch ears . Hey - anything to get them to notice you is what he said. :rotfl2:

I can't believe they sell pins but don't do trading?! :confused3 Do the employees wear the pins as well? If so, if you ask to trade , do they?
