Thank you! Our midterm for the class is Monday, so I'm thinking that I should be ok if I decide to skip on Friday, but I'll wait and decide on Wednesday after I hear what we might be doing in the class.

I'm starting to get super excited, but I also have a ton of stuff to get done too! For future trips, if you have a Dollar Tree near you they sell poncho's two for a dollar! I grabbed 4 packs so that we each have two.

I know I say it all the time but I really really wish we lived closer so I could try (key word being try ) to help you get stuff done. And thanks for the tip; I think there's one in a kinda nearby city?

Ok, so following Meghan's lead I'm going to post the things that I am looking forward to for my trip (and a few pics from our Give-A-Day project)

My family really really likes food, so I'm looking forward to our meals
We are eating at several places that will be new to me this trip, Tutto, Le Cellier, WCC, and TONY'S (Lady & the Tramp is my favorite movie!)
On our October trip I also tried this amazing breakfast sandwich at Sunshine Seasons, so I'm on a mission to find that again....and Disney Popcorn!

Soarin'
I'm really excited to take my Mom on Soarin', I think she is going to love this ride!

Flower and Garden Festival
Last year we missed this by like 3 days...they were setting up as we were leaving, so I can't wait to see it fully up this trip...and Margarita's in Mexico

MK til 2am!
On our first full day there MK is open until 2am, which (like Meg) has me super excited to try and make it that late!

Splash and Carousel of Progress
I haven't ridden Splash since the last time I went to Disney with my Mom (about 17 years ago) and as far as I know I have never been on Carousel of Progress, so they are both on my list for March (assuming that I don't chicken out on Splash...)

Toy Story Midway Mania!
So last March Patrick and I managed to ride this like 7 times....and in October only once, so we are hoping for at least 3 times this trip

Fantasmic! and Wishes
These are two of my favorite things about Disney...I love love love both of these...Wishes almost gets me to cry every time (especially if its our last night) and Fantasmic! just makes me super happy...

I worked for most of yesterday and for about an hour today making a total of 9 newborn blankets, 6 double fleece and 3 single fleece. We only needed a total of 6. We registered my mom, Kris, Patrick's mom (Ann), his sister (Sloane), and ourselves. Ann, Sloane, Patrick, and I each have AP's, but we talked to Ann and we are most likely going to use the GAD passes to renew our AP's in October!!!! Which means another year of AP's and most likely either an August or October trip again!!!! I'm hoping for October so that we can do MNSSHP again...Halloween is my favorite holiday and I would love to be able to go to Disney again then!

I just signed up last night to do the blanket project! Actually I called my parents & convinced them to do it as well. All together, we will be sending in about 10-12 blankets. I found the cutest prints today at JoAnn Fabrics & can't wait to start making them! I read yesterday on DIS that Disney has almost reached 1 million volunteers!!! Thats amazing considering it is only March...so I signed up as soon as I heard. I had planned on a different volunteering project, but loved the blanket idea for the babies! What an awesome cause to support! I will post some pics of ours once they are done!

I think it was a really great idea to do a TR together! Can't wait to read more! (and again, I apologize for being so behind on my reading!)

I really, really wish we had gone back for Illuminations, but no one else really wanted to see it and we were all beginning to drag after that big meal. It's nice to remember for future trips, though.

My dad cracked me up with his "scary" comment! I think the feeling so close to things is part of what makes the ride so amazing. I guess not everyone feels that way.

I love cats and I really really want one, but I react pretty badly if I come in contact with them and forget to immediately wash my hands. What was the reason you changed dates? Was it your promotion, or you just decided to go during free dining or something? I remember the changes, but I don't remember the exact reason.



The blankets look good. That's what we were going to do, but we ended up ot having time, and now they're about to reach their million mark, so I guess we'll just forget it after all.

6 days from now we will most likely be eating dinner then heading to MK because it's open until 3am!!!! I'm not sure we will be staying that late, but we'll hopefully be there until at least 12am!!! Day 2 (Saturday, February 13) -- part 1. Walk around Pop & DHS!

The only solid plan for today was dinner at 1900 Park Fare! We were all super excited for this one because we were interested in seeing the stepsisters and Lady Tremaine, and we had heard good things about the food.

I have this funny habit when we go on vacation of always being the first person to wake up, especially when it's our first night in the "new" place. Or I'm sleeping over someone's house, I'm always the first one to wake up. I hopped out of bed, showered, and decided to take a walk around Pop. Kailyn was beginning to wake up as I was leaving, so I asked her to let our parents know that I was just walking around Pop taking pictures.

I think that this was the day that I realized my hair might rebel against me the whole week. Something about the Florida water just makes my hair insane. I was able to tame it and wear it down by using bobby pins to hold some of the top part back. Kailyn approved because I always wear my hair up and she thinks it looks cute when it's down.

It was still pretty chilly when I first stepped outside. I don't think I got to the end of the balcony before I realized that I needed a hoodie underneath my fleece. It did warm up some, though. These are in no particular order, because Facebook doesn't seem to like to upload my pictures in order.

I was looking for different years. I only ended up taking pictures of two. I took this one for Katie...

...and this one for me!

There is SO much stuff hiding the abandoned building. I could barely see through all the trees and stuff.

When I took this one, I thought of MeMom and her family's super cute Disney-themed parties and gatherings, like when they made their own Play-Doh creations, and she made the elephant and giraffe hanging out of the container.

These made me think of Katie. I actually headed this way just so I could take a picture of Lady and send it to her, but my phone was off and acting up with sending pictures.

When I got back to the room, everyone was waking up and ready to go get food and head out. We ate in the room and then headed to the bus stop to go to DHS! This is my dad's favorite park.

Guess what our first stop was? (Actually, it probably wasn't this. It was probably a bathroom.)

We saw Green Army Men!

I love all the details...

The Fastpass return time was this:

We were a little anxious about that because our 1900 PF ADR was for 4 or a little after, and the park closed at 7. I remember there being some issue with the Fastpasses, or rather, people who didn't know how to use the machines.

We did get the Fastpasses, though!

I remember my dad laughed at me when I took a picture of the FP. He also said something along the lines of, "Meg, you're funny." No, I'm a DISer and I must take pictures of everything.

My dad wanted to do the Backlot Tour, which we hadn't done in a really long time. In iPhoto, I have pictures from Villains in Vogue. I took pictures of Jack shirts I wanted, but didn't buy because I was trying to keep my obsession under control. Sigh. I don't think I came home with any NBC stuff, which is amazing for me.

Up next, Backlot Tour and "MEG! It's a green army man!" "Where?!" "THERE!" "Oh, right up there!" "No, right THERE!"

Only 5 Days DisKate !!!

I just posted a pic of my kittens...Belle & Beau on MeMoms TR. They are just the sweetest little balls of fur!

I hope the time goes by fast, August seems so far away!

To answer your question Memom, I decided to cancel my trip because I didn't want to drive in a potential snow storm.
We have surprizingly warm temps lately and little snow, so I'm having some regrets.

I also decided to go for 2 weeks in August instead of just one in March for almosty the same $$$$.

Free dining is a HUGE bonus also! I just hope they offer it again !!!

WOW! I hope the wait for TSM isn't that long when I go.....no wonder people stampede for the Fastpass line.

I love to see the army men! So cool!

Do they have signs for all of the years at POP? I'll have to make a point to find ours. (except for my DMom she would be in those lost legendary years across the lake )

I was showing my DD the 'cutesters' you got and she decided to go on EBay to see what she could find.
