My family will be going to Disney World in April. We are considering adding the Disney Dining Plan. Is it possible to do the plan for 1 day less than how long we will be staying at Disney (will be staying for 7 days but would like to get the plan for just 6, as we will be away from Disney world for 1 day for family gathering) Also my daughter is 8, can I pay for her as an adult?
When we did the meal plan over a year ago, the choices for children did not seem very good. thanks for the time.........john

Your dining plan is based on the number of nights you are staying on site, however you are able to use your credits until midnight of the day you check out. If you want to upgrade your daughters dining plan she must also possess an adult entrance ticket.

The plan is based on the number of nights you are staying, not the number of days. If you need fewer nights, you may need to split the reservation into two separate stays.

Even if you're away from the parks, you can still use the credits on another day, as long as it's within the days on either side of the nights included.

You can pay for your daughter as if she were an adult, but any park passes would also have to be paid as an adult.

I would plan to do Hoop De Doo Revue as a signature dining experience - great for kids and adults! Good food and very fun :)
