Two different room types on MDE

Hi

I’ve booked a 1br value at Jambo with a checkin date today. On my MDE I see a reservation for both a standard view 1br and a value 1br

The dates are the same, but the confirmation numbers are not the same.

Anyone knows why?
 
Maybe they overbooked the values or had to take one out of service and you're being moved to a standard view? Will be interesting to hear what you learn.

I was thinking/hoping the same, so far my room isn’t ready so I don’t know.
 

I just got an email with my room number and it’s on the kudo trail.

I looked up the room number on touringplans and it seems that we have been upgraded to a 1br savannah view :cool1: not bad if it checks out.
 
That might be near where we were last time. At end near where the workers drive in and out. You will see a good amount of animals. We booked standard studio and got there. Loved it.

Nope...we were Zebra trail at end. It was nice. Not sure what your view will be but better than value. Enjoy.

Yes our room is near the end of the trail. Would be great if we could see some animals.

I did and they are still the same so no change there. I would have expected Some sort of communication if they would have charge us any additional points.

We will be in our room in a few hours so I’ll report back then and hopefully we get to keep it.
 
We are now in our savannah view room. The view is ofc great.

I asked at the front desk why we got upgraded but the CM wasn’t sure why as no notes had been put in.

We are however very pleased with the upgrade.

So far our vacation have started out more magical than we could have hoped for.
 
We had the front desk cancel a reservation and re-book it. The points went into holding and they used other points for the new reservation. We didn't notice what they had done until after we got home. Took MS a couple of days to fix our account. It pays to watch your account.
