We have two day park hoppers with Max Pass. We plan to use them on a Tuesday and Wednesday and are staying at GCH.

If we start out at DL on Tuesday with EMH and do some Fantasyland rides, is it a good idea to get away from the extra crowds at DL due to EMH that day, and hop over to DCA? Will we be stuck in queues of people entering DCA at that park’s opening?

We would do EMH at DCA on Wednesday, and park hop based on what activities we still had remaining.

Appreciate any suggestions!

We hop a lot from the EMH park to the other. Often from DCA to DL. We usually just stick around through the first 30-45 minutes of the park we start in (since lines are usually still short and we might have some park open FPs) then hop over after the crowds die down a bit.

Since EMH at DL only happens in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, the EMH crowds don't make a huge difference there as they start filtering to other parts of the park as they open. Frankly, EMH crowds don't make a huge difference at either park.

For our Magic Norning at DL we bypassed Fantasyland and went to Tomorrowland and rode Star Tours, Buzz x 3, Space, AstroOrbiter, Autopia, Nemo and Matterhorn in like 90 minutes. That area gets SO crowded by mid day and very hot.
Then we walked over to FL and walked onto teacups. We could have done a few more dark rides with less than 15 min waits but my fam doesn’t prefer FL so that was a better option for us.

I’d probably stay in DL till around lunchtime and then hop over to DCA. Eat lunch in DCA. Make sure to start pulling DCA Fastpasses while you’re still in DL
