Does anyone know if we can use two credit cards for charging privileges? We would have two room keys with one card, and the other two room keys with another card. I've never roomed before with anyone other than family, and I'm not sure of the best way to do this. I don't want to end up charging all the meals for all of us - you know how that works out, you never get all the money they owe you!!!
TIA

You will only be able to have one credit card per room. You can have only your card or cards activated and have your friends not valid for charging. That way, you'll be able to keep your charges separate and have them use their credit card in the parks.

Sad but true. Only one credit card per ressie. I think I have heard that people have gotten separate charging cards. Not my experience.

I have read on these boards that the way to go about this is to have one card at check-in. Then everyone uses their room key to charge. The night beofre you check-out, go down the the front desk to get a print-out of charges. They will be listed by room key (user). Then have one set of charges chraged to the initial credit card at check-in and then offer a second credit card for the second set of charges by the other set of room keys.

The posting I read made it sound like this was a common occurence and shouldn't be too difficult. The only difficulty will be if one person picks up the tab for an entire dinner. Maybe the server at the restaurants will give separate checks. Or one person can pay for one dinner and then vice versa.

I will be encountering the same dilemma on our trip in January.

Hope it all goes well!!

They will give you separte checks at all the restaurants. Just be sure to tell them at first. Hope this helps. :D

When I traveled to Disney with a girlfriend we just asked for seperate checks at each restaurant that we ate at. My son eats like an adult and her daughter eats very little, so we didn't want to have to divide the bill each time. Every place we ate at (this was a 2 week trip, 2-3 meals a day out) had absolutely no problem giving us a seperate check. We never did charge back to the room, we either paid with travelers cheques, cash or our own credit card, this way we never had to worry about checking our room bill. We have traveled the same way with family as well, and learned to keep everything seperate. Our first time we did charge back to the room it was a real pain keeping everything straight, sometimes things were charged twice and a few times the charges were incorrect, so we had to spend a lot of time comparing reciepts.....a real big hassle.
