First of all, our counter....

57 DAYS TO GO!!!

This trip is turning every day more special. First, it was the job and know it'll mark the beginning of a new stage in my life. A little Background? Ok. In August, I'll be moving from Puerto Rico to Atlanta to start my Master in Fine Arts in Photography. If you have been reading since the beginning, you'll know that I'm a computer Engineer. Why Photography? Well, the almost-lose of the job make me review how I was feeling, what I want to new next. So photography came to mind. It's kind of a weird career change, but I feel that I need to try this. At least, If it doesn't work, I can go back and continue working as engineer but with a smile because I tried it!!!

So, I'm trying to make everything special. One of those things is to make t-shirts. I even convinced my DB to wear some of them with me. As a good planner and DISer, I started my hunt for designs. My plan was to find a perfect design with the AKL logo to wear the arrival day. Searching and searching, I also thought of making one with the AK logo...Here are the ones...One for me one for my DB.

I took the Designs from the Creative Designs. I really don't remember who was/whom were the creators. And for that I'M REALLY SORRY! I really wanted to give credit for the work. Seeing those cute t-shirts, it made me think how cute my DB and me would look at the Ohana's Breakfast with matching Lilo&Stitch. There are not ready yet, but I'm thinking of using this design:

And...Umm...If We are having for t-shirts for Ohana's...Maybe we can have for MK with this:

And there...My friends...were when the addiction began. Now I just want a t-shirt, a matching t-shirt for every park and every moment. My DB liked the idea until I told my DB about the matching t-shirt for Princess Storybook breakfast with this design:

I really love these ones more, but I'm having trouble finding one that includes Ariel, Jasmine, and Belle (my favs princesses).

Nah, I'm not going to make him wear it...only if he really wants it. Which I hope he does!!!!

53 DAYS TO GO!!

It's getting closer, and closer . That's exciting but scary at the same time. Let me explain a little bit. I'M GOING TO DISNEY, but also a month later I'M MOVING TO ATLANTA. So, you can imagine my stress being a planner freak and all. I need to start packing FOR TWO THINGS ALMOST AT THE SAME TIME. Thinking about it is exhausting

This is how I started...Remember my Disney Bin? Well he is making a special work. He's keeping everything Disney-related, away of being send to Atlanta in the commotion . Here is his pic again:

Meanwhile, and with the help of my New friend the Disney bin, I started packing. Have you ever notice HOW MANY JUNK can you accumulate??? I've been living in this house for a year, A YEAR and men, there is a lot of junk. It's scary...So I'm applying the 6-months rule, If there is something that you haven't used in 6 months, give it away! You haven't need it in 6 months, I don't think you'll need it later. There are a few exceptions to that rule: Any Holiday decoration, Summer/Winter clothing (Don't this problem here...it's some how the same temperature all year), etc.

Since I'm changing careers, I started my moving packing with my Engineer's books. I'll store them while I'm studying. And then I selected my fav books...the first ones in route to Atlanta? My Harry Potter First-edition book collection. Once the books were done...It was the DVDs...*insert creepy Gollum voice here* MY PRECIOUS COLLECTION.....And look what I found:

Yeap there is a lot of Movies missing, but It's a work in progress

I also found my last trip souvenir, My Jedi Mickey guarding the Star Wars Trilogy:

I'm not sure if I want to send them with the DVDs or with me to Disney... I'm dying to see what they do to them when I left them in the room PLUS they'll make perfect room decoration, Don't you think?

I already booked my returning car. This trip is divided in 2 parts: 8 days in Disney + 5 at Universal. So, We'll need a car to move us from Universal to MCO. I would preferred booking a town car to that to (we are using one from WDW to Universal) but the Flight itinerary had change 3 times since I bought the tickets. It started at 6:30pm as a departure time and it's currently 9pm so I booked the car with a returning date for the NEXT day, In case they continue the changing until the next day

This is my update for now...stay tuned...there is more in this head of mine...

50 days!!!

"Is that true??? " That was my reaction when I saw my Desktop Counter this morning! Those magical numbers...50 days...SWEET!!!

I started my shopping, for more Disney's bear-necessities. Some of those new acquisitions are:

Sunblock! - IT'S a most!! The last trip I used this kind, continuous spray. It's a HIT! You only spray on and get going.

Waterproof Camera - I'm a good-quality-photo doer but this little ones are always handy, specially if you want to take a picture while riding Splash Mountain. They are disposable and have 27 photos each. I bought 2.

Hydration Pak - We are trying this for the first time. We drink a lot of liquids while walking and carry bottles around was just messy for us. It's handy, and you can put personal belongings in it without getting wet.

I also put in agenda that I NEED TO PAY the remainder of my reservation this weekend. The sooner the better. I'm dying to get my hands into the package...hehe

I'll be off the boards this weekend because I have a friend visiting from Atlanta (my soon-to-be home) and I want to spend some time with him...This is he in my last visit to Atlanta on Jan:

Yeap, daisy. The spray sunblock is a must for me. But be sure that is Continuous one.

Thanks, Michelle. I had a GREAT weekend. We visited the Caverns Park (Parque de las Cavernas del Rio Camuy - in Spanish). There is something about leaving the island that make us melancholic about it. Suddenly I want to visit all our national places and beaches (the Zoo, the Yunque Forest, etc). We also ate so much Puertorrican food!! I'll post some photos later.

Let's see how the hydration pak behaves in the trip...

Ahoy, Mate! Long time no see...A little update is here to see.

First of all, let's see our numbers....

38 DAYS TO GO!!!

Oh My, Oh My! 38 days already!!!! I can't wait!!!!!

I already paid my ressies!!! SO IT'S OFFICIAL, People! I'M GOING TO DISNEY!!!!! I called my AAA-TA and paid the remaining...The only "Bad" thing is that she doesn't trust the post office or else...but she is not sending the package via email. I HAVE TO GET IT AT HER OFFICE!! Well, the benefits of living in an island is that is not that far...2hours tops from where I live...and in the same town that my DB's parents live....so is not THAT bad. (only that I wanted the feeling of receiving it via mail Oh Well!) It's better this way ...I guess!

This Memorial weekend was a blast!!! I did so many things: Pool Party with my DB Cousins, dinner with DB parents, dinner with MY parents, a little shopping...And guess what my mom gave me...Guess?? Anyone???

My first pair of CROCS!!!!

I'm trying them right know. You know, test drive? To see is they are as good as everybody think. So far....They are! So let's see if they can survive DISNEY!

I'm working in the itinerary, as soon as I have the first draft...I'll come to you for some advice...
