I have a financial question regarding the fairytale package.

I currently booked a ressie for 11nights for 3 people arriving on a Friday. I am paying for 8 nights/passes and getting 3 free with a total price of $4068.

However, the airlines want to charge $130.00 more to leave on a Friday than a Thursday. I called Disney and was told that if I add one more day it would cost me $384 more (hotel & passes).

The way I see it is I could make one ressie for seven nights (getting 3 free) and then make a second ressie for 5 nights (getting 1 free). Doing it this way should not change my total of $4068 and still save me $130.00 for airline plus get an extra day at Disney.

Question is has any one experienced checking out and checking back in on the same date and what are the chances of staying in the same room?

You should call CRO and mention that you have continuing reservations. Then mention it again when you check in. By doing that you lessen the possibility of getting moved to another room. We were there in Nov. when the rates changed and many many people were checking out and checking back in again. I don't think it will be a problem.

For some reason I had 2 ressies for a consecutive stay that was only 4 nights total (I think I added a day at the end or something) and we didn't have to change rooms. I can't remember why I had 2 reservations but at check--in they took the info on both and told me not to worry about moving. I guess there is always that chance you'd have to move but it is more work for them so chances are they'll let you stay.

Enjoy!
