Two Concurrent Reservations?

I have a reservation for a 1B villa at BWV for 7 nights. My DH and I are staying for the whole duration with our infant son, but would like to have my grandmother stay with us for the first 6 nights, and my parents stay with us for the last night (they are staying at POP for the first 6 nights). Is it possible to add people to the reservation for only part of the stay?

I also considered just having all 5 of us listed as guests for the whole stay (booked through DVC, so room can accommodate 5), but I’m wondering if my parents will have an issue with their magic bands being linked to two different rooms. Has anyone tried doing this before, or has any idea if this would work?

It might be better to add them to the reservation on the day they arrive at the Boardwalk so that the MBs work properly. You would do this at the front desk.

Is it a room-only reservation? If so, I would just add them now. Just make different profiles for them under your MDE account so the BWV reservation isn't linked at all to the profiles that are linked to their Pop reservation.

If you make different profiles for them then their MagicBands with the tickets on them won’t open the BWI resort room. They would have to carry two different sets of MBs.

It is very easy to add people to the room at the front desk. It is the best way to handle it and the MBs will work for both the resort room and the tickets.

I have done it several times so I’m positive that you can do it.

The BWV is room only, their tickets are linked to the Pop reservation.

Yes, you can add ME. Just call ME as soon as they are added to the room. Or, simply add them now with the different profiles as suggested, set up ME, and deal with two sets of MBs.
