How cool is that? Congrats on getting the pin code! That deserves a major banana dance!!

:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

I know I am very excited! :jumping1:

Courtney and I were hoping that it would be good for our trip, but we will just keep waiting and hopefully something good will come out for December too! :pixiedust:

Ok I just have to share this with you guys because I am really excited. My fiance and I have been tossing around the idea of having a disney honeymoon. (we are getting married in September). Well I open my email box today and there it is.....a pin code.....for the exact window of time Brad and I would be at Disney if we go. Free dining (I'm sure some of ya'll been hearing about that pin on the site today.) :cheer2: So now I am seriously trying to convince Brad that his is a sign and while he is excited, he doesn't understand why getting a pin code is such a big deal and why we need to hurry and jump on it. :scared:

That is SOOOO awesome!! :) I hope you get to! That would be awesome! So...this is a really dumb question, but how do you get a pin code for free dining? I don't know if it would work for me since we're renting, but it's always worth a shot, right?

Honestly, I have no idea how we got the pin code for free dining. I just was checking my email today and it was there. :cheer2: So I don't know what I did to have it emailed to me today. I wish I could be more helpful, but I honestly have no clue :confused3 .....but hopefully ya'll will get it too, it saves like 500 bucks for the week we are there. Is your email address registered at disney.com??

Just a quick little TBM update.

Called the movers this weekend. Apparently, all the stuff in my apartment is going to weigh just over 2,000 lbs to move. I'm not sure whether to be surprised or not. It isn't going to cost nearly as much as I thought it was, which makes me happy. So, the movers have been called...and they are coming March 14th. The original plan was for the movers to come and my mother (who is flying up to help me pack and the drive back with me) and I would leave on the 15th. Well, I think that if the movers arrive early enough on the 14th, we are just going to leave on the 14th. I'm ready to get going. I am giving notice at work on Friday, which makes me nervous just because it's something I've never done before and I think it will come as a surprise to my boss. But I keep reminding myself that they have experienced this before, so I should just get over it and do it. Heh.

I made another payment on the Disney trip this weekend as well. Kelly and I also spent some time doing Disney math this weekend (the best kind!) to see what it would cost if we wanted to upgrade. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for 4/3 in December. Here's hoping!

Anyway, TBM is taking up most of my time right now, but just for one more quick update...Kelly and I have been working to lose some weight for...a while. I have since early January, and I hit my first goal last week! 15 pounds! Wahoo! The idea of this is that we are working to lose weight for the weddings, and summer stuff, but also, our reward is this Disney trip (where, according to our restaurant lists we will be gaining it all back). So, we are sticking to the diet and working out hard so that when we go, we will feel like we have 100% earned the trip. I mean...we will have paid for it, so we'll go anyway, but you get the idea. So, I just wanted to share my happy news with you all!

I'm glad that TBM is not going to cost you as much as you thought it was. That's always such a huge relief.

I've worked at the same place for a little over 7 years, so I haven't had to deal with giving notice at work, either, but I'm sure you'll do fine -- I would be nervous too. Just keep reminding yourself that they have dealt with it before. ;)

WOOHOO for the weight loss!! That's awesome! I think that my boyfriend and I are going to start trying to lose weight together. I'm hoping it will be easier if I am doing it with someone else. I'm going to wait until after the trip to really start getting into it, though, because I'm sure not going to lose anything when I'm down there. :rotfl:

Thanks! Yeah, it's a huge relief that TBM is less expensive. More money to spend at WDW!! :rotfl:

The weight loss thing is definitely easier if you do it with someone, or at least have someone to hold you accountable for what you do and eat. Kelly and I are doing that for each other, being each other's support for it. Cause losing weight is hard!! But when I get to go to WDW in December and not have to worry about what I am eating, it's all going to be worth it! :woohoo:

Hey Courtney...sounds like you've had a busy day with texting and e-mailing back and forth. What's TBM??? I'm a little lost here!! And I'm sorry you haven't gotten your DVD yet---don't worry it will arrive :) Hope you're having a wonderful day.

That's great news that your move won't cost you as much as you originally thought.

Doesn't it always feel good to make a payment to Disney? I want to make one tonight, but I think I will wait a couple of days since they just extended the 4/3 deal and I bet the lines are jammed.

Triple hurray for losing 15 pounds! That's awesome!

Congrats on the weight loss!

If you were to upgrade, what would be your first choice?

And also count me in as clueless as to what TBM is? Am I missing something?:upsidedow

TBM is what we are calling The Big Move. And I still don't have my planning dvd. :(

Thanks! It does feel great to make a payment. Every time I see that total go down a little, I sigh in relief.

Thanks!
Hm....well, if cost weren't an option, I think that I would upgrade to either GF with a theme park view, or CR with a theme park view. I know I've already stayed at CR, and I've said that I won't repeat until I've stayed at them all, but....we stayed in the garden wing, and I would really like to stay in the main building. We've also talked about upgrading to AKL. I think it looks awesome. But...it all depends on what kind of discounts they release for December. We may have to push the trip back a week :headache: if our dates are blacked out, which we've heard rumors that they might be...
Oh, and TBM is The Big Move. :)

I just have to say YAY!!! for the weight loss! Way to go! I know how difficult it is.:cheer2:

Another big YAY!!! for TBM not costing as much as you thought.:thumbsup2 You'll be back in the Republic of Texas before you know it!

Hm...I do have my email registered...but I think I got sick of them emailing me stuff all the time so I said I don't want updates. Probably a bad move on my part. And maybe they wouldn't send me one since I didn't book through them??? Who knows...

PS Good luck and CONGRATS with the weight loss! :) :thumbsup2 :)

Sorry you haven't gotten your DVD yet..Don't worry, it will come sooner than you think. And when it does just think of all the fun you'll have watching it :)

Ahhh the Grand Floridian is beautiful! But I think AKL sounds like a great pick... such an interesting and vibrant resort... and one of the cheapest deluxes! We've only visited when eating there but I could spend hours just exploring.

Just wanted to drop in and tell everyone Happy Valentine's Day

and give you all a quick update. Yesterday (Friday) I gave my notice at work! Which, for me, makes this whole, moving back to Texas official! It was more emotional for me than I thought it was going to be, but then again, I shouldn't be surprised. I have honestly loved working at my firm, have great friends, great clients, and a spectacular boss. I am truly sad to leave it all, but I know that this move is going to be the best for me. Anyway, hope you are all having a wonderful Valentine's Day!!

Happy Valentine's Day to you too Courtney...and good luck on TBM!! I know you'll be just fine.

Hugs... it's hard to leave something great behind when you can't predict the future. But I'm sure once you arrive in Texas it will all be 100% worth it.

Happy Valentine's to you too!:lovestruc

Thanks to all of you for the kind words! I am getting more and more excited about TBM as it approaches. I spent my day off (Yay, President's Day) running around getting things done that need to be done before I leave VA, such as cancel the gym membership and the Palm Beach Tan membership. I also got my car washed (of course now it is snowing today, and they've put salt down. So much for my clean car!) and went running. I am training for this 5K that I am going to be running with a friend after I get back to Texas. Of course, in the middle of my run, my ipod, which I've had for two years, decided to die. It was a sad moment. But, I bought it used so it is at least 4 years old - a nice long life, I think. Especially with how much abuse it takes from me. So, I felt justified in getting a new one. I bought myself a brand-new ipod nano on Monday. It's purple and lovely, and I am enjoying it immensely. I spent a good portion of Monday evening updating my playlists and everything on the new one.

I listen to music everywhere. The ipod travels with me to work, to the gym, I even have a dock that I can listen to it in the shower. So, needless to say, there was no way I was going to be driving 1300 miles without it in less than a month.

Speaking of a 1300 mile drive...that's a long drive. My Mom is flying up here to drive back with me, which is exciting. So, I am working on putting together a playlist for our roadtrip. We have a wide variety of taste, so there is a little bit of everything on it. Just to show you, I put it on shuffle and here at the first ten songs from that playlist:

Road Trip Must-Haves:
1) Honey, Honey - Mamma Mia soundtrack
2) Accidentally in Love - Counting Crows
3) Born to Hand Jive - Grease soundtrack
4) We Got the Beat - The Go-Gos
5) Fearless - Taylor Swift
6) Beathless - The Corrs
7) Razzle Dazzle - Chicago soundtrack
8) Life is a Highway - Rascal Flatts
9) Hurt So Good - John Mellancamp
10) Ohio (Come Back to Texas) - Bowling for Soup

Since we all seem to be planning trips...what are YOUR must-have Road Trip Tunes?
