The two character meals that I want to try are Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's. I was able to get both for our November three day trip. We are two adults and I do love the characters. We will be staying at the Contemporary as apposed to our usual AKL. Should we just do one for this trip and leave the other for another trip or just take the plunge? How noisy are they? I have heard that the Crystal Palace food is quite delicious and Chef Mickey's breakfast is ok.
I want to do Crystal Palace more but Chef Mickey's will be more convenient.
Help me!!

I don't think 2 is too many....

I think 2 is too few...

We, (mom and I ) are doing 7 in 10 days. We are on the preffered plan so that helps with the financials of it but we love character meals. I love to feel like I'm 5 while I'm there and those meals really help.

So I say do it.

I dont think its too much. Chef Mickey is Mickey and pals and Crystal Palace is Pooh and friends. You are at Disney afterall, I say go for it!:thumbsup2

Really depends, your in Disney anyways so if 2 character meals are too many for you then chances are you really dislike disney.

I'm doing 2 character meals on the 3rd July and being a disney nut, I'm really excited as it'll be my first character meals

I've got two scheduled in one day: Crystal Palace for breakfast and 1900 Park Fare for dinner.

In '07 we did a character breakfast almost every day.

In '08 we did Akershaus lunch the first day, Tusker House for a late breakfast the second day, Crystal Palace dinner the third day and Chef Mickeys breakfast on the 4th day just before we departed. Too many to some, but for us it was fine. Wish we would have skipped Tusker House and eaten lunch at Yak & Yeti. Food was actually really good at Tusker House but we waited for over 30 minutes to get seated and I don't like to waste touring time like that so I won't go back there unless I go for breakfast before the park opens.

In my experience, Crystal Palace consistantly has some of the best food at WDW. We go there every trip, everyone in our group has always been satisfied with the food there. And you can't beat the location!

No, I don't think it's too much.

We've had 7 day trips before, with a character meal each day.

We just came back from a trip where we did both of those. Had dinner at Chef mickeys then lunch at CP the next day. Both had very good food, and even though I was not a fan of taking that long of a break for eating, it was still well worth it considering you can get a visit/pictures with 4+ characters at each in about an hour. Much better than the lines in MK.

I say the same thing we are doing 6 or so this year :goodvibes

We are 4 adults and have 5 character meals for our 7 day trip.
You have to eat somewhere...why not eat it in the company of friends? ;)

I don't think it's too much either :thumbsup2

Last trip on our MK day we had breakfast at the 1900 PF character meal and dinner at LTT :goodvibes

We always to those 2. We are 2 adults without kids and this year our parents are joining us and asking to do them also. We are doing a total of 7 in 8 days of Disney

Two a day would not be too many for me, and I am sure I did two a day even before I had kids. Some of the character meals have very good food. For dinner I really like the Garden Grill and the Akershus character meals.

I have a character breakfast, followed by a character lunch on the same day, and I don't think that's too much, so obviously I don't think one each day is too many.

We are doing 11 in 7 days! We have the Deluxe Dining Plan, so they cost no more than the other meals. We also have a DS who will turn 3 at the World, I figure he will love it. So, for him, I will have to put myself through 11 character meals! :rolleyes1 (I'm gonna love it as much as he does!)
