Two Castaway Cay Stops or Key West???

For those who have been on the Western Carib. itinerary, what's your opinion on these two options? Which is the better choice in your opinions. It's us, the parents, and three kids under 11.

TWO stops for sure for us...

Key West is nice, but have been there a few times, so would much prefer the two shots at CC...

as much as i love key west, i would have to agree and say 2 stops at Castaway Cay, CC is more family oriented and more stuff for the kids to do.

We had 2 stops on our Thanksgiving 04 Western and the only regret was that there wasn't 3 stops......On our sailing we were offered a "but one get one free". If you purchase the snorkle, bike and float package for one day the other is free.....you must pre reserve these before you board.

Absolutely the 2 CC stops, didn't feel as though we were able to see and enjoy everything in the short time we were there. Key West is nice, but doesn't have the beach and Cookies BBQ

Key West is fun, but since we are going there on the DVC Member Cruise our 7 day next year will be a double scoop cruise!

We did two CC days on the DVC Member Cruise back in 2003 and it was fun!

See I differ, I love going to Key West. The kids come off for a bit and explore and then we put them back on board and my husband and I enjoy walking around and checking out the local bars. They have some really great live music and it can be a lot of fun. While I really do love CC, one day there is enough for my kids. I have also had our floats "taken" on 2 of of 4 cruises and find it gets just a tad crowded for me. We do live in Southwest Florida though, 1.5 miles from the beach so we're spoiled. I prefer the beaches when they're quieter and don't go during the height of the "travel season" down here.
I personally don't think you could go wrong with either choice.

CC without a doubt!!! Key West was nice to say ok we've been here but I have no desire to go back. DH & I don't do bars so that wasn't interesting for us. We walked around a bit then got back on the ship & enjoyed a beautiful day at the pool.

Another vote for CC. Our 8 year old absolutely hated Key West. But I think this was because of the heat. The grown ups found Key West ok, but would really have liked to have had more time to explore.

We have done 2 Western cruises & our next booked cruise is 10/14/06 with....you guessed it.....2 stops at CC! We have small kids (5 & 2) & there are a lot of things going on in Key West that a 5 YO girl just should not see!

I wish they would dock the ship at CC and let us stay there the whole week! I love Key West... got engaged there... but would still prefer CC!

i booked for next year the 2 cc stops but that isnt what intrigued me...it was the stop in costa maya. I would prefer key west and 1 stop at cc but i dont want to return to grand cayman....soooo i guess its the two stops at cc and costa maya!

I guess I don't understand. Castaway Cay is great, but 2 stops?
My vote would be for a Key West stop. Fins Up!

Just got back last week from the Magic and I definitely agree with everyone else, 2 days on CC is MUCH better than a day in Key West.
