Two BOG reservations at the same time, both can't appear in MDE?

I have had a reservation for 2 to BOG at 11:10 am, hoping to eventually get a reservation for our party of 6 sometime around that time on that day. When I saw another availability for 2 at the same time, since I couldn't get it online due to the conflicting time, I called and the CM made me a new reservation instead of adding 2 to my current reservation. Now, I can't see this reservation in MDE. When I attempt to link the new confirmation number manually, I still get the error message that it conflicts. Is there a way for either (1) Disney Dining to re-do this as one reservation of 4 people, or (2) Disney Tech to be able to get both to appear? Otherwise, I will have to just put the reservation number in my notes for my sake.

I've seen others post about not being able to do that without a second MDE but I had no problem booking two reservations for the same time.

We used the website to make both reservations.

Interesting! We do have two other reservations that are 20 minutes apart and it wasn't a problem making them on the website. I've only tried linking them on the mobile app, guess I should try on the actual website before calling back.

Mission accomplished by linking it on the website. Thanks for clearly stating that's where you made your reservations. So next time I see another table for 2 pop up around then I'll use the website!
