Two bedroom lock-off

I just booked my June 2012 trip at my home resort of SSS. I requested a two bedroom lock-off and that is what is says on my ressie. Does that mean that is what I will be getting, or is that just a request that has been noted. Also, when do you request what area you prefer to be in. Would I request it now, or when we get closer to the time of travel. Being a newbie with DVC I find myself with a lot more questions than I did when we would just book a package!

"Dedicated" or "lock-offs" are villa types and it should be what you get, it's not a request.

If you have an area to request, do it when you make the reservation or as soon as possible afterwards. It wouldn't hurt to mention it at checkin.
