Wow, it's finally here, the conclusion of Two Adults Do Disney...

Day Five - This was our final day at WDW, we thought we would do it all...We didn't sleep in (shocker!) and went over to MGM for EMH. We rode RnR and ToT once each and then we left around 9:30. We went from MGM to the Contemporary for breakfast and then we went to MK. We didn't really do much at MK. The only ride we went on was PoC and we wandered around a bit...

After wandering, we went to see Philharmagic. I still can't get over how much we both loved that show. It was the perfect ending to our day in the MK.

Since we got done with the MK earlier than we thought, we headed over to CBR for a nap (not a shocker). We woke up around 5:00 and went to Epcot so DH could ride MS for the last time. When we got there, it started raining so we thought we would look like tourists and buy ponchos. Funny, we have always made fun of the people who buy them at DL but we didn't care. DH went straight to MS and I was planning on getting a FP for TT but they were all sold out. In the end we skipped the ride because the 80 minute wait wasn't worth it to us. So instead we went to dinner at San Angel Inn and then started to wander around World Showcase again.

Those ponchos ended up coming in handy because it started POURING while we waited for Illuminations to start. When everyone ran for cover, we just sat on our bench waiting for the show to start.

I honestly don't see what the big deal is with Illuminations. DH and I both thought it was boring and we were disappointed that the show neither of us liked marked the end of our trip.

Because we were so bummed that we spent our last hours in Epcot watching Illuminations, we decided to drown our sorrows.....at the fabulous pool bar in CBR!!!

In all seriousness, if we would have been able to leave that night, we would have. As much fun as we had, we were TOTALLY ready to go home. After the bar, we headed back to our room and packed...

Day Six - We woke up relatively early and had breakfast at the food court, played a few games in the arcade and then headed over to the Custom House. And can I get an "Amen!" to airline check in at the hotel?! LOVED that! We got our boarding pass, gave them our luggage and then waited for our ME bus to arrive.

*Disclaimer - DH told me to pose like that!*

Instead of an ME bus, we rode to the airport in a Disney Cruise Line bus. We got to the airport about 2 hours early and proceeded to wander around the shops and play in the arcade (I loved making the strippers dance on the Soprano's pinball game!).

After eating, we hopped on a plane and came home.

In conclusion...

*Yes, we ran into some rude people on the plane and in the parks but it's like that ANYWHERE. It always makes me laugh when people say how rude people are at DL...trust me, we ran into our share of rudeness at WDW. I just take it all with a grain of salt (sometimes!) and get on with my day. Life is too short. I also don't understand why people have this need to plan every little detail of their trips. Down to the amount of time in each park and the order of the rides they will ride. It's a vacation, why stress out? Go to the park see what you want to do and go from there. I guess I say that because we go to DL a lot and we didn't have a need to do everything. Plus we didn't have kids with us so we could really do what ever we wanted.

*Even though we both love almost anything Disney (can't stand Stitch), I don't think we will need to go back at least until 2007. The only reason we will go back that soon is because we want to go with another couple. We were glad though that we were able to experience WDW without kids. Here's to hoping we WON'T have any kids by the time we go. :)

*Another thing that we keep talking about was the weather. I can't believe how humid it was! Especially at AK, that was the worst. I was so hot and sticky that I wouldn't let DH touch me until we were inside with some A/C. Normally we are very affectionate but I just could not stand to be touched when ever we were outside. We are used to heat but not the humidity.

*As for my hair and make-up, I did both each day. Well, I did my hair everyday except for the last day because I didn't feel like it. I blow dried my hair straight everyday (Fredrick Fekkai Glossing Crème worked wonders) and I even did all of my makeup, including eye shadow. It didn't melt (I was oily but that's normal) and my eye shadow was perfect through the whole day.

*Another thing I should touch on is WDW transportation, it was the best! Unless you plan on going off property, there was no reason whatsoever to rent a car. The bus service was great from the hotel to the parks and vice versa.

*CBR - I think I mentioned earlier that I thought our room was in the worst spot because of the parking lot, hallways, etc. I was so wrong, our room we didn't notice a lot of noise from the parking lot or the hallway and we were the perfect distance from the bus stop. We noticed when we walked by to the buildings at Old Port Royale, there were kids everywhere and it was so loud. It was much nicer being away from everything. Another good thing about staying in Barbados was that our bus stop was never really crowded, at least not as crowded as Martinique or the Trinidads. And as far as the order that you get picked up or dropped off in, it changed every time. It even changed going to and coming from the same parks. Sometimes we were the last stop when we were going to the parks, sometimes we were the first. Same when you got dropped off. Some drivers used the CM entrance, some used the main entrance. We mainly noticed the difference coming to and from Epcot.

*The craziest thing we saw in the parks was during our last day in MK. As we were leaving, we saw a little girl getting in trouble and her mom was making her stand in the corner. In one of the corners of the freaking castle! Talk about humiliation. I felt so bad for that little girl. I don't care what the kid did, why make a bigger spectacle of yourselves?

*One more thing we noticed was the lack of women wearing bras. And these were not women who should go without bras. DH and I both noticed that the women who were able to go w/o bras (mostly fakies) wore them and the women who needed them most went w/o. Seriously, I thought I was going to loose my lunch a couple of times. So I'm begging you, when in doubt, wear a bra.

*In conclusion, although we had a fabulous time and I wouldn't have traded our vacation for the anything, we were definitely ready to go home at the end of our fifth day. We did everything we wanted to do, saw everything we wanted to see and I couldn't ask for a more perfect vacation.

And they lived happily ever after...
