Two ADRs for two, five minutes apart? Can we sit together?

Can a party of four be seated together at TH if the reservations are five minutes apart? My son decided last minute he wants to eat at a character meal, prefers Tusker House for lunch. I found two reservations for two people, five minutes apart. I was thinking if we check in early, would they be able to push two tables together?

Disney CMs generally go out of their way to accommodate guests... Also, unlike reservations in the "real" world, a table is not set aside for you, rather you are holding a place in line. So something as small as your request would almost certainly be granted as long as the request is within reason (and this certainly is) and you ask nicely.
I have NEVER had a CM refuse a request I've asked for, I think all because #1, their job is to make and keep guests happy, AND #2, I always use my (long gone) mother's advice, "You catch a lot more flies with honey, than with vinegar!"...
Now I am a senior citizen and that advice has always stood me in good stead, along with many more of her pearl's of wisdom! lol

Thanks for the reply, and that is very reassuring. I will look in the meantime for a reservation for four, but feel better about it if I have to keep these two that I have. We will probably try to show up a few minutes early just to make sure they can prepare our tables.

The other thing you might do is try to combine the 2 via phone. That may not be a problem! But I'm sure you won't have any problem! It's such a small request!

Tusker House will do this for you. They (and only they) have a policy to accommodate this type of situation. Because you're asking about Tusker House, you can rest assured that you will be able to sit together.

Thanks for the reply! That is a relief that they are willing accommodate reservations like that. It makes it less stressful for me!
I did find an adr for all of us for dinner, but I'm not sure if they still have characters then. It says on the website, characters all day, but on the reservation description, it says Tusker House dinner, instead of Donald's Safari
