Will someone explain what Twitter is for? I'm so out of the techno social loop. But I hear people mention Twitter all the time, even people Twittering from the war zones to get information out. I'm thinking it's like facebook but in a different format?? It's really the "in" thing right now I think and I don't want to be left behind!

Not sure, I do not use it, but I think it is used to tell people in your group what you are doing all the time, and for you to know what everybody else in your group is doing all the time.

I do, it's a ton of fun. But I use it for two reasons, to follow celebrities, all the people I love on the tv shows I watch and also to get the most up to the minute news headlines. Every possible newsroom is on it that you can think of. It's a blast to connect to famous people, to see what they're doing in their every day lives.

I got a really bad virus on it Thursday night. I am so bummed. But there is a good side to it. I am getting a new/bigger hard drive for it and a new dvd drive in it. So I will no longer have to use my external dvd drive. Found out the old dvd was catching the connector ribbon and basically cutting it in half. Very bad design on it.
