TWINS (or babies) at WDW

We are going to WDW in Jan 07 for 1 week w/ dd6 and our 8mo old twins (will be 13mo at trip time). We are staying at POFQ and they told us that it is against fire code to have more than 1 crib in the room with us? Just wondering what others with twins do?? Also, what kind of twin strollers are best for WDW?? Thanks

We have 4 yo twins and have had great success with the Combi Twin Savvy. Although, it's a couple of years old and there may be something "bigger and better." Seems like the things we used (which look practically brand new), when our twins were 8 months old are archaic now. LOL.

In our case, the Combi has worked well because it's very light and folds up nicely. There is a nice shade and good sized baskets underneath. It also has a feature where you can plug in music (we've never used this...still in the box).

We're planning on taking our stroller along next month!!!

I don't have twins so I can't tell you about the two cribs in a room thing but I just bought the twin savvy a couple of wks ago for my dds age 8 months and 3yrs. I am in Love with this stroller it pushes so nicely even on our rough gravel roads. It also folds up nice and easy and has a carrying strap. I bought this specifically for Disney because the double I already had was huge and heavy and a pain in the you know what. There is a twin savvy sport and the twin savvy. I bought the twin savvy sport because it was over $100 cheaper and the only difference was that the sport does not give you the option to hook on an infant car seat and only comes in one color.

I see you are staying at POFQ just a thought would be changing to POR and getting a room with a trundle bed. These roll out from under the other bed so it is quite low to the ground. Maybe one or both of the twins could sleep on this if you are comfortable with them being able to move around the room. Good luck with whatever you decide

we have a set of 5 year old twins and a 10 year old, so we chose to get a cabin at Fort Wilderness. It was perfect for us. You can definitely fit a pack and play in the bedroom and put the second one in the kitchen. Would your twins sleep in those instead? There is also a set of bunkbeds--if you bring a bedrail, they both can sleep on the bottom bunk--it wasnt too high from the floor.

I dont know anything about the stroller situation at Disney as we did use one, but there were a lot of them!

We have stayed many times at POR and PORFQ with our twins. I requested two cribs, and no one ever questioned me. If you have one on your ressie, maybe you can ask when you arrive for a crib then you would have the two you need without questioning. I know that is not on the up and up, but we never had a problem, maybe just the person you talked to. I do know you can ask 5 different cm's and get 5 different answers.

We used 2 singles or a double side by side, we always go for the lightest and simplest way of travel. I would not use Dis strollers for little ones, very hard for napping.

Guess who? You can check out the Combi double stroller at Babies R us. It folds in half and I believe has a shoulder strap.

Don't forget to bring a nightlight I just went out and got a two pack for the bathroom and a light near the pack n play so the BRIGHT light doesnt wake the whole family up!
