Twinkling lights or No!!!

This question I am sure comes up every year. When putting up your tree and the lights are all on with the decorations. Do you prefer lights that twinkle on and off, slow brighting, stead and you cannot be bothered with lights. Me I prefer the twinkling, blinking lights brings back memories of my childhood just lying on the floor watching them while we all were in the living room watching tv. Sometimes when we have music playing I just swear they are blinking in time to the music. I just love the holidays!!! I just guess I really never grew up and am just a Christmas fool!!!

This year I did the whole tree in non blinking lights, then wrapped one string of blinking lights around it. I didn't want there to be big dark spots.

Twinkling I can deal with. Flashing drives my nutty and I'm already close enough to nutty that I don't need to be driven there! I prefer steady burning, multi-colored lights most of all though.

We have the non-blinking lights, no tinsle, and big red bows tied on the branches.
