Does anyone know if you can get the twin lobster tail entree at Cap'n Jack's on the DDP? Thanks  !

As of May, they do not take ADRs. They do serve lobster on the DDP (rumor has it that they save the smaller lobsters for DDP guests), they have lava cake, and the wait is frequently 2+ hours.

I was debating adding this to our December ADRs. When I asked the CM, she said you can now make ADRs for Captain Jacks.

We ate at Cap'n Jacks on our trip in March, we were not able to make reservations. We showed up at around 6pm and they sat all 9 of us at the bar. The Bar tender was super...I can't remember his name, but he was great and the kids loved it. I think we waited a total of 5, maybe 10 minutes to be seated. My SIL had the twin lobster tails and it was covered on the DDP, although they were pretty small. DH, BIL and I all had the steak with the lobster tail (added the tail to the steak entree) and it was great, steak was cooked to perfection ( I like mine med. rare), and they included all of it on the DDP, thought that I might have to pay OOP for the lobster tail, but it was covered. :yay:

Have fun, the food was good.

I made a reservation for Cap N Jacks for 24 September no probs (did this last week).

Hope those lobsters are still on that menu!

In May three of us were able to get the twin lobster tail meal at Cap'N Jacks on the DDP. Great meal. For four of us the bill was over $200. If they take ADR's now, use it but keep on top of them. They had a system that was failing big time when we were there, if there really was any system to it. :rotfl2:

There are NO restrictions whatsoever. Pick an appetizer, entree, and dessert for each person from the menu and rest at ease. No restrictions. And, btw, they do NOT save smaller lobsters for DDP guests; that is a vicious rumor.

Twin lobster tails included on the DDP? Woo-hoo! I've been looking for someplace to eat at DTD on one of our non-park days, and though the free meal voucher at Planet Hollywood is tempting, I'm not sure I can pass up free twin lobster tails for my dh. Better make my ADR before they fill up!

Anybody know whether they are Maine or Florida lobster tails?

And...are they live, fresh, or frozen?

I just changed some of my ADRs yesterday and the CM told me Cap'n Jack's finally started taking ADRS as of May. I made an ADR there for Sept 28th.

We ate there last Sept on the dining plan. We all ordered steaks and the waitress asked if we wanted lobster tails added on as they were included in the dining plan. My son told her he didn't like lobster, so she suggested he order it anyway and then he could give it to his dad. She brought it out on a seperate plate and my ex had two lobster tails with his steak. I mentioned that I was surprised the lobster tails were included in the dining plan and the waitress said Cap'n Jacks' had no limitations. I ate there again last month. I didn't want a lobster but was curious if their policy had changed, so I asked. The waiter again told me Cap'n Jacks' had no limitations with the dining plan and we could order anything we wanted (including the lobster add ons).

Right, there are no limitations at *ANY* WDW restaurant. We use the Premium Plan everytime we go so I know this first hand. popcorn::

That may be true of the Premium Dining Plan (haven't used it, don't know), but it's not true of the regular Disney Dining Plan and the free plan. There are a few exclusions, restrictions, etc.

In fact, those limitations/exclusions/restrictions make up a sizeable percentage of the threads on this board.

Anyone know if you can get the lobster tails at lunchtime?

Just made Lunch ADR's since I could not get any earlier than 8:45 for our week and was wondering the same thing! Keeping my fingers crossed. I love Lobster!
