Another comment on casting - so of the 3 Volturi leaders, two of them are about 40 or so (I'm guessing?) and then Caius is early 20's? Guess it makes sense from a vampire point of view since they can be turned at whatever age.

Curious - can't want to see when they all get vamped out!

Yeah, I was thinking they got Alec right on....he'll be able to play creepy no problem. He was in the third XMen movie I think but bald....I think that was him.

I remember him mostly from The Butterfly Effect where he played the psycho guy as kid. They really did nail the casting with that kid.

I was reading Outlander this weekend and had left the book open upside down on the table when my niece came over. And she started reading it...I was desperately trying to remember what part I had been reading!

Yikes! That happened to me recently with either a 12 yr old and a Sookie Stackhouse! I hadn't read the book but my DMIL said it wasn't one of the really bad ones. *sigh*

I was just writing some more on mine. It was picked as a featured story (with a little blue award) on Simply Twilight, a site I was invited to through my disboards pmer. And it is up to chapter 7 on Twilighted.

I am writing EPOV right now, so I am trying to think manly thoughts

I have only posted here a few times and haven't read in a while, but I wanted to thank the poster that put together the reading list for Twilight fans. I am reading the Black Dagger Brotherhood series now. I absolutely love it!!! I'm dying waiting for the 3rd and 4th books to be checked back in at the library. I finished 2 last night.

I'm also reading the Anita Blake series, which I also like.

I had tears in my eyes laughing so hard at her. I can't even describe her face. She was just as serious as she could be. And so dramatic in her deliverance of the lines. It was priceless

OT real quick - we've discussed great books to read, but what about other movies to check out? I'm on a big Netflix kick currently and am looking for more movies to add to my queue. Any suggestions?

I just got "The Fall" from Netflix and watched it and I am completely and utterly (and maybe even irrevocably ) in love with it. The visuals are mind blowing and the story is just perfect. I highly suggest that everyone checks it out. Here's the trailer. It is really stunning.

Other movies along the same lines of The Fall that I love (and recommend if you haven't seen them) are Pan's Labyrinth, The Fountain, and Mirrormask.
