resident geek - love me some geekward, but she is a slow updater, great story though
there is a few on that list i may check out
i also started reading I Love L.A. a robfic, she has rob falling for a 30 something gal, and he's perfect
and it all started with wide awake...i read when i am queuing, in bed, at work, when i should be doing pretty much anything else. the iphone just makes it too easy.
How come all the ones I read are incomplete! Here's a list of ones I've been reading, what they're about and how much I liked them.
Wide Awake (saw your siggy, love it!) - hard to top, will be so sad when it's gone, like the writing, love the characters and storyline - both bella and edward have tragic pasts and neither of them can sleep
Dangerous Affections - really surprised me how much I got into it, I was gripping my desk in some of the later chapters, very twilighty though alternate universe, follows twilight but in a different way where he's an assassin and he's supposed to kill Bella
Drink You Alive - I like Mrs the King's writing a lot, her characters are great and I'm not even minding that Edward is with someone other than Bella. I think that's partly because I know they don't end up together. Plus it has a cocker spaniel in it, what more could you want.
The Office - really like it, pretty intense, can't wait to see where it's going, she updates slowly it seems! Bella has a rude boss that she can't stand, but in the first chapter something interesting happens....
DID - Dudes in Distress - also seems to update slowly - laughed out loud in parts of it, really love how funny it is. Edward is a veternarian and Bella saves him from an awful woman in a coffee shop. Emmett ----
The Dominant/Submissive - very surprising story actually, not totally what you think, um, I'm not describing it more than that.
Poughkeepsie - I like it so far, wondering where it's going. Edward is homeless and Bella sees him every morning at the train station.
His Personal Assistant - Bella's in love with her boss Edward and teams up with his two brothers, Jasper and Emmett and her two roommates, Rosalie and Alice to seduce him.
Wreckage - Bella is in a car accident the night that Edward proposes to her and she doesn't remember him. Updates slowly apparently, it is good though.
Coming to Terms - Bella and Edward have a one night stand and she ends up pregnant. This is the one I was comparing to a Harlequin romance, but it's pretty good. I'll keep reading.
Remains to Be Seen - Bella puts an ad up on craigslist for anonymous "unicorns" and Edward responds...totally not as bad as it sounds. Pretty good, I'm still reading.
Deconstructing Dracula - Bella is doing her doctorate work on the Dracula novel and has gone to England to continue researching. I'm still trying on this one, slow starter but may grab me more later. I had to try it just for Edward having an English accent.
