i was just reading elizabeth taylors tweets (dameelizabeth) and she wrote

Okay, this is really nitpicky but...

In the book he never actually steps into the sunlight. The sun is never on his skin. If it was the Volturi would have had to take care of him immediately because he would have exposed them. Instead he is in the shadow and all you see is a faint gleam

In the pics, the sunlight is clearly on his skin which means that he would be totally obvious (especially if they do a better job with the glitter effect than they did in the first movie) and Bella is too late.

I did get a kick out of that video though- especially Bella tackling Edward.

I sort of think that some of those cans were enhanced with some air brushing - not to say he hasn't been working out. They just enhanced to make it look more defined - he is pastie vampire white after all. (It is a common practice for photo shoots.) But I do have to say I like it - natural or air brushed.

We saw Xmen Origins Wolverine last weekend (more violent than the first Xmen movie) and it turns out that the diamond-coated effect is in full force over at Marvel Comics.

I was thinking the same thing. The abs look a little airbrushed on but hey he still looks good. And he definitely worked hard to get what he has.

Have to share....yesterday I was volunteering at my daughter's first grade class and I was helping the kids make some father's day frames, when one of the girls turns to the boy next to her and says - Andrew what colors are you using? I mean Edward, what colors are you using? I asked Andrew/Edward why does he want to be called Edward - he says I am Edward from Twilight - see my hair is the same? I laughed so hard! So I had to ask him - who does your hair - he said I do! So, the next half hour was spent talking about Twilight - with a bunch of first graders!! LOL!

Now I'm wondering how you get a career airbrushing on Rob's abs (I do think they're a little airbrushed but he does have them) and drawing on cgi dots.

I also don't think he ever stepped out into the light but was thinking I'll have to read New Moon again (and again and again). Also, maybe it'll be a subtle sparkle from the light shadows that I do remember and it'll be some CGI effect for more shadows.

And we are thinking with all of that 8 pack going on he'll remain shirtless for as long as he did in New Moon right? Until Aro gives him a cloak as he's leaving?

Aro gives him the cloak at the end of the encounter. So that when he went back out onto the streets no one would see him. So we should have MANY scenes like that......hopefully they keep that to the book!

that youtube video is now safely stored in my favorites and i have been really emotional lately, i had the tears welling up. new moon is my favorite book, not for the jacob part, but how intense her rescue of edward is. the dead look on his face and her desperately running through the crowd is exactly how i imagined it all.

i don't recall edward ever making it into the sunshine, but maybe they'll do something along the lines of the sun rising and the shadows disappearing and bella leaps into his arms as they are about to disappear at his feet - a theory

From what I've seen in the pictures all the extras in the scene are looking in a completely different direction, so if the sun hit him for a few seconds he wouldn't have been seen anyway. It looks like he steps out for a few seconds, Bella pushes him to the shade, they embrace and then Bella pushes him indoors when she notices the Volturi coming.
Maybe the Volturi were amused and wanted to see what he would do before disposing of him.

I decided the jump the Twitter bandwagon. Mostly curious. How do you find your "friends" on twitter? I did a search of a few people that I know have accounts, and it came up nothing. I'm lonely on there!! lol

Anyway, are there twitter updates for New Moon anywhere? How do you get them? I think I read a previous post where someone said about getting pictures from the set sent to them via twitter. So how does that work. I'm not finding it to be as user friendly as facebook!
