So, I am a new fan of Twilight. I asked for the books for Christmas, and have been addicted since I read the first chapter, and it gets worse the further I get in. I'm not even done with the first book, and I love it.

I've been directed to the thread by a friend (Hi Arelys!!!) after asking her what she meant by she "only likes blue bananas" lol. Interesting mascot!

While reading, Edward and Bella's relationship at different parts reminds me a very small bit of the relationship between my boyfriend and I. So I think that makes it more addicting lol. To see how much more the relationship could be similar.

So...um...I guess that's my intro. Hope to talk to you guys again soon, I've got to use will power to not read tonight so I can make it to a 8am class tomorrow....so hard!!

i have been Mia for awhile with all the insane crazy stuff going on in my life The computer has been my last thought on my mind so i apologize


the last i was on here was in November before our crazy premiere the TwilightMoms were doing
Then my kids went off track for 6 weeks
My hubby lost his job and then decided that he wanted a divorce and i was like so ready for it ....
BUt after he realized what he would be loosing he shaped up

so i officially going to bombard you all with pictures i promised to post and One question
WHAT IS THE BLUE BANANNA GANG???

I read The Host. It was... ok, pretty good. Like others, I found it a little hard to get into at first, then I enjoyed it. But still didn't find it as addictive as Twilight.

The area around the town of Forks is very similar to those pics. We wandered around some hiking trails near Lake Quinault that looked just like that. Beautiful! While we visited Forks, we did not make the trip to La Push and First Beach. Maybe next summer, because I'm sure DD14 will want to do that day trip when we take our annual trip to Ocean Shores in July!

Alright, I'm a little jealous! All of you who have visited there, and plan to go more, I hope you take lots and lots of pictures!

I just finished Wuthering Heights. Bella inspired me to read it again - I hadn't read it since high school? I've alway been a Jane Austen fan too and plan to get into some of her novels again as well, but I think I'll take a break and inject some Sookie in there to stir things up.

I was thinking about re-reading that as well. I haven't read it since high school and don't really remember it. Although I remember I didn't really like it, maybe having read Twilight will give me a new perspective.

I LOVED Sweeney Todd - am I crazy? Maybe I'll dl the soundtrack onto my ipod.

Well, according to me, you're not, but others may disagree.

Seriously.... does anyone watch "Rock of Love Charm School" or any of the other shows that these, ummmmm, girls with, ummm, issues are on? They are like car accidents to me... cant look away, but I am so appalled I even give it a second look.

You know, I don't watch that, but my guilty pleasure is America's Next Top Model. Part of it is that I have a bfa in painting and took some photography classes in college, so I'm really intrigued by all the photo shoots.

The other is the absolute drama! I can't help myself!

An OMG moment from DH at dinner. He's reading Twilight and out of the blue asks if Edward and Bella ever "do it" and if Jasper has to stand outside of the room to keep things calm. Perv. Only a man would think of something like this, because this was never a possible scenario that my friends and I came up with while reading.
