One of the last movies I was obsessed with was Across the Universe. I saw it 7 times in theaters Twilight isn't my first book-turned-movie that I have been really into. When I was 13/14 I was really into Fight Club and American Psycho, both the movies and the books. I even have an American Psycho blanket (who knew serial killers were so comfy and warm?!) Maybe that is why my mom was so worried about me at that age

okay, so i saw the movie for the third time this morning, i wanted to pay more attention to backgrounds and see the hospital blooper. something caught my eye though and it really bugs me...alice and rosalie have pierced ears how did they pierce their ears. if the body heals itself while transitioning to vamp then their ears would have healed too, and then since they are stone they couldn't pierce them after the fact. or did i put too much thought into it?

i love the movie, but i still can't stand the score, its too over-dramatic, 90210-like for me.

Hmmmm, maybe that is why I love the score since I love me some 90210. What can I say, I am a teenage girl at heart.

I'm taking my Team Cullen baseball shirt to WDW next week and I'm going to see the movie at DTD on the 12th when I arrive!

I need to scoop up some Cullen-wear. My co-worker and I have decided we are going to be full on Cullens. Like I said, we'll all be at some Cullen Convention in 20 years, all dressed like Bella and Alice. Just like the Trekkies.

I read on TwilightMoms that Hot Topic has some new merchandise; a pillow case, a locket with Edward's pic on one side and Bella's on the other, a jewelry box, a trunk tote, and they're coming out with a fleece throw. Also, Torrid online has Carlisle's ring if anyone is interested.

I bought the trunk tote for my daughter for Christmas... it was $30 and REALLY cool!! I will definitely buy the pillow case and the throw!!

I'm 29....and very much a fanatic to the core.

My mom is going to be 55 in a few months, and it's the cutest thing seeing how obsessed she's become. She went to a matinee by herself today to get her fix (it was her third viewing), and bought herself the soundtrack while we were out Christmas shopping tonight.

I swear I don't know how you people notice this stuff. This was me when Edward first appeared on screen -> and I watched the whole darn thing with a grin on my face! I really don't remember much background stuff.

I got my co-worker to read Midnight Sun online today. I seriously want the whole series written again from Edwards perspective. It just sucks you right in. I really think SM is from distant planet and her plan to take over the world involves mind-control through the Twilight Series. The pages are lined with some mind-altering substance that causes grown women to act like 17 year olds. Eventually Edward is going to start "commanding" us to do things, and we will all willing go along. (I will be first in line!)

By the way, DD just asked me who had my Twilight book because she wanted to read it.

I've created another monster.

I seriously want the whole series written again from Edwards perspective. It just sucks you right in.

This is SO true. After reading MS, every time I read something from one of the later books I wondered what Edward's perspective on it was.

You wanna know what else is missing? You just KNOW that Steph wrote all those tastefully fade-to-black steamy scenes in BD just for her ownself. We just have to fantasize (and maybe squint to see if our DH's look like Edward yet).

I just got this month's copy of Atlantic Monthly magazine. There's a really interesting article reviewing the Twilight series: "What Girls Want: A series of vampire novels illuminates the complexities of female adolescent desire." I was thinking she was going to trash it, especially when she wrote how much she hates young adult novels, but she loved it and really praises it, and also discusses in depth some of the psychological themes in the books, and why girls (of all ages) find them so fascinating. Very interesting!

My little 13-year-old sister just sent an e-mail telling me how addicted she is

She was really apprehensive about reading the book because she said vampires are lame I told her she would really love it and to give it a shot, but she said she would watch the movie first and if she liked the movie, then she would read the book. She hasn't seen the movie yet, but our mom got her the book 2 days ago and she is almost done already. She said its amazing and she can't put it down And the addiction begins!

what? lame? vampires?????? vampires are the coolest thing ever...Ive always wanted to be one...I have my own personal denture fangs...I used to watch Dracula with Bela Lagosi and Christopher Lee alot but I really really started getting into them when I was 13...thats when Salem's Lot came out...I knew then that I was destined to be a vampire...problem was I dont look anything like a vampire should...Im pale but I can tan
