When I was a kid I thought the song White Rabbit was really about Alice in Wonderland. My parents did not bother to clue me in and I used to sing it all the time. I still do, but now I understand the connotations.

OME I am so thrilled to be even CONSIDERED! It's an honor just to be nominated. The women in my category, vamps and tramps, are so out of my league (Lisa, Lori, Danielle, Amy, Jess, MaryAnn and the rest... you know who you are!). It's just such an honor to be considered amonst women of that calibar! I know I won't win, in fact I may not even make it to the show but I'll am just so happy to be a part of the nomination process. I want to thank the Acadamy.

I'm not a fan of "talk" on the walls... but that would be very classy. I Hope you do it! EDIT: Wait, is it already up there? How did you get it up there? It looks great. I love the idea of reminding people to be safe as they leave the house. I hope you don't change it.. it's very apropos!

Does anybody else ever have a hard time wrapping hteir mind aroudn the fact that the Cullens are vampires? I mean, they don't exactly adhere to the vampire canon as they put it. They're just so human in the way they're portrayed that sometimes I forget they're not supposed to be.

There was something else and now I am drawing a blank.

Yes its already up there. took about 15 mins. the F was the hardest cause i wanted it a little lower. Closer to the frame. I was looking for something along these lines. and Belle's tattoo, gave me the idea. so all the credit goes to her. I just cut it out, and stuck it up. I think its simple and says it all.

I think on the front of the door (since i have 3 drama filled girlies) "Drama Free Zone, put your big girl panties on and deal with it"

We live in the woods so only the people that come to visit would see it.

I've been meaning to plan some day trips around the state. I think it would be very educational for the girls....

I liked that part. Most books protray vampires as blood sucking animals. Except the Vampire Chronicles. They were a little more sophisticated. I think that the reason they are so able to pass as humans is because they have kept many of their human traits. Like all the hobbies. They didnt embrace the wild side of being a vampire. they held on to their previous lives. They were all truly good people. Even Jasper.

I also think that is another reason people have a problem with the way they were in the movie, "an 80 year old vampire still in high school" read stuff like that on some websites.,etc. But i think that emotionally they are still the ages that they were before they turned. So Edward is still 17. Hence, the way he acts. like a 17 year old boy. Like when he pushes Bella away, then wants to be her friend, um hello anyone ever been to High School? and other times he is "old".

You forget how immature Edward is in the first book until you go back and reread it. It's even more obvious in Midnight Sun, especially with the way Emmette calls him "kid" all the time. As the books go on (especially the second half of the last one) and he mellows a bit, you forget that in many ways he is just seventeen. Could you imagine being stuck at seventeen forever? No thank you!

You do and you dont. before you know what his "super power" is, he seems like an immature, stuck up, 17 year old, boy. But then he talks like he's older, but then again that could be good "parents" The jealousy is the biggest thing that you notice. Mostly with the other boys in the school. the way he's always swooping in. Like they could compete. sheesh. Same with his beef with Jacob. I think that a lot of it boils down to being 17, and not the whole werewolf/vampire, Quilyate/Cullen treaty. But maybe if i had to choose. I'd go jacob. I like tall, beefy, warm guys. Uh Oh i may be kicked out of the thread.

I think that its also the reason that he wants things a certain way. because he doesnt like being 17 forever. It is very apparent in Midnight Sun. I really wished that the 2 books would have been combined.

It would get old pretty fast. Espically high school over and over again. I went once and that was more than enough for me.
