I think that it is really hard to compare the two.

Harry Potter is wonderful in it's own ways. It created a world of magic and friendship and imagination, and I have loved the series since I was eight years old and the very first book was released.

Twilight has not created a world but in fact added creatures who are out of this world into the already existing world. It is a beautiful and compelling romance between two very different people.

They are both exquisite books, but are so different. Therefor, I put they are equal.
