Reading back through this thread, is anybody else a little bit disheartened by the amount of copyright infringement going on with this movie and what has been posted on YouTube? I know people mean well, but it's still illegal. I noticed that at least one of the posted videos was taken down because Summit claimed the Copyright. I would think that given what happened with Midnight Sun that the fans would be more careful. I know people don't mean anything buy it, but just because you put a disclaimer saying "no copyright infringement intended" does not make it legal. I would hate to see people getting in trouble for trying to be helpful, bu I have a feeling the studio is getting ready to really crack down.

I know nobody on this thread would use the posted material to avoid seeing the movie or buying the CD, but there are those out there that would which is why stuidos have to be so anal these days about what gets posted online.

You are right about that, everything in this fandom seems to leak early. The whole soundtrack is already online, but I've avoided that as I will be getting mine this Tuesday. It wouldn't suprise me if the entire movie made it onto the internet a few days before the release or even in the upcoming weeks.
As for the Rome videos, there was no warning to not film with those as there was with the Comic-Con footage, which is probably why it's popping up everywhere. Summit has began to take down videos from YouTube though and have begun uploading TV spots to their YouTube channel.

I'm glad they have their own channel. I've mostly been watching their stuff. I noticed that when you posted the soundtrack you had that disclaimer, but it might not be a bad idea of your to take it down. It sounds like they are starting to crack down, and you could end up getting a very nasty fine for copyright infringement. I know you do it with the best of intentions, so I would hate to see you get in trouble for it.

Ok...who told Robert Pattinson that it is acceptable to have a minute, twenty-two second long guitar solo intro to a song? Who does that?? The melody was lovely, but after 30 seconds I started going "where's the rest of the song??" Yeesh.

I remember reading a bit about the unpublished last book... is it still on hold, or is there a plan to release later? I know that there are copies of the unfinished version on-line, but think it would be much better to wait if some chance in the future for a finished product. (Still a few books away for me, no matter what... as just started this past week)

As of now, it is on hold. I really hope she finishes it because what I read is soooo good! Stephenie Meyer has a link to it on her website.

You could read the Midnight Sun excerpt on Stephenie Meyer's website and it won't ruin the other books for you. Midnight Sun is Twilight told from Edward's perspective. It's very good-I really hope she finishes it.
