I saw over the weekend that Entertainment Weekly gave the soundtrack for Twilight an A-, which is a very good mark for them. I hope to also pickup along the way ... was just not certain if I wanted to hear before seeing the film here.

no problem. I check amazon's mp3 deals everyday. I had purchased the twilight soundtrack for 9.99 (the cd not the mp3's) but I couldn't pass up this offer so I canceled my cd order and just downloaded instead

I saw that today at "My Good Cents". Is it the whole CD or just a few songs?

I also went into Walmart for some milk and just accidentally stumbled into the electronics area (don't you hate when that happens?). My local Walmart didn't have the soundtrack nor did they even have it listed to come in any time soon. The vendor there said she didn't think they would have it at all. ???? They sell the books, why not the CD?

I went by Walmart yesterday morning too and ours didn't have it either. I called Target and they said they had it. I told DH to please go to Target and get it for me and when he got there it was sold out. So I had him burn it for me from itunes last night. Most of the songs are great!

I paid the 3.99 to Amazon and got the whole soundtrack downloaded. It's really good. I'm curious as to what songs will be played at which points in the movie.

I've also found some lyrics that actually seem to come pretty close to what Rob is singing...anyone found anything better than this? I still think some of these are off...

These sound reasonable. He sings like I would after I have had 4 margaritas on an empty stomach. Seems like he has a nice voice, but he really needs to work on the whole enunciating thing. Overall, I like the soundtrack much better than I thought I might.

the author is Stephenie Meyer and there's 3 in the series so far.

#1 is Twilight
#2 is New Moon
#3 is Eclipse

Fabulously addictive and wonderful story about a 17 year old girl who falls in love with a vampire, who is also a 17 year old ...for the last 100 years.

The concept sounds lame, I know, but just take a look if you are looking for a good read! Just be sure to feed your kids and do your chores first before you pick up Twilight because you'll be hooked.

Anyone else totally, head over heels in love with these books???

SSB finished "Twilight" (great last 1/4!) and started "New Moon" today.

Agree with others that subject matter fairly intense, so would surely read first before allowing a young son/daughter to read.
