oh wow!!! Now I really can't wait for the movie to be out!! And it comes out on DH's b-day as well...luckily I got him to read the books and he loves them too, so he's being a dear and letting us go on his birthday!!

See, I KNEW the new trailer wouldn't give away any of the "sparkles-in-the-sun" stuff! I'm glad. It'll be nice to have a few surprises in the movie, since we all pretty much know what happens. I'm actually looking forward to seeing how they tweak it to make it a bit different (but still mostly the same...) from the book.

What's the release date again? November....??

Saw the trailer on perezhilton.com and am very excited for Nov. 21 to get here! It looks like it is really going to be good--hope we don't get our hopes up high and then get disappointed....

Jacob is probably the closest to what I pictured. I had Esme has much more elegant - swooping updoo - but still young. The rest are just fine, and it's the chemistry, and presence that will pull Edward off.

I usually enjoy seeing my fav books are the big screen even with some compromises. Just glad I read the books first!

You hit the nail on the head!! As odd as it sounds to describe a teen novel about a family of vampires as a great romance, that is exactly what this is. Everyone wants to be loved the way Edward loves Bella.

And I like that they don't get to age.

I so can't wait for this movie to come out, I don't even want anyone to go with me, they'll just ruin it.

I like the pics but the one of Victoria confuses me because she actually looks pleasant. Given what happens in that books as well as all the others I have never once pictured her smiling.

phorsenuf: The movie is released on November 21. Twilight Lexicon is having a special showing on the 22 in Cool Springs, TN. Tickets are $10 and that price include a Twilight goodie bag. They are sold out, but have a waiting list going, I'm sure there will be people who fail to send in their money or cancel.

Yes, that is sooooo it. Every gal wants to be loved the way Edward loves Bella! It really is a great love story
