Hi everyone!

I'm currently reading Twilight for the first time. Should've started it during a weekend so I could stay up late to finish it. I was starting to do the "just one more chapter thing," recognized my symptoms, and promptly told myself I HAD to turn the light off at 10. I sleep poorly enough as it is without addicting books.

I'm probably ordering the second (and maybe the third, if it's in paperback yet) tonight.

Welcome to the asylum...I mean the group. And I agree with you about staying up late to read. I was up to 3 am reading a sci-fi book called Metal Swarm. I love the series and now I can't wait for the 7th and final book in the series. But I think I will get Breaking Dawn first. That is first on my list.

And right now New Moon is in paperback but Eclipse isn't yet.

ok so I finished new moon and have started eclipse...I got my team edward iron on but I think I want the bumper sticker too I preordered breaking dawn so Im good to go...I went out to buy eclipse today because Ive been literally forcing myself to not go crazy with the reading on this book but yesterday I gave up...I just dont have the willpower...they consume me...ok here is my opinion as of now...I feel sorry for Bells...she is being pulled in 2 different directions and it cant be easy for her...but as jacob goes, although I feel his pain and understand it, he was forewarned and knew 100% that her heart belonged to Edward and she would never be able to really love someone as they deserved to be loved but Jacob still allowed his self to be consumed by her so why is anybody blaming Bella? we all know she loved him as best she could but come on...we all know that if it was us in her shoes we would do the same thing

Anyway..We were trying to find pictures of what we thought the Cullen house looked like, and couldn't find any 3 story rectangle houses with wrap around porch..so she made one. I think she did a good job!

actually I pictured the house to be a little more modern and this one I could definitely see as theirs...they didnt live in town and I imagined them having ALOT of space...

No, it's just that when I already average 6-6.5 hours of sleep a night, I can't afford to miss much more.

But I finished Twilight this evening, and now will have to wait for New Moon to arrive from bn.com. At least they have their "fast and free" shipping (I think amazon's service has gotten worse if you don't have that Prime membership. Grr).

i know right??? when I went and got Eclipse I got the iron tshirt transfer and I thought it would just say twilight or something on it...well no it said team Edward and I was like good thing because if it had been team jacob I would have been down there before you could blink and teling them they better let me exchange it for team edward

btw jacob is starting to get on my last nerve....edward has seriously started being better about this whole thing and jacob is a brat!! Poor Bella I would hate to be in her shoes and being pulled in two different directions

I had read Twilight a year or so ago, and liked it, but didn't rush out to get New Moon. I got New Moon on Thursday, and decided to re-read Twilight so I would be caught up on the story- WOW!! I must not have been really paying that much attention to the book the first time I read it- it really knocked me out this time!! Read Twilight and am now almost done with New Moon- I think I will be heading out to get Eclipse today or tomorrow.

I also just found out about the movie version of Twilight- watched the trailers and scene on YouTube. It looks great- I really like the casting, especially Robert Pattinson (Cedric Diggory from the Harry Potter movies) as Edward. I have to say, though, I'm not too excited with the actor cast as Jacob (Taylor Lautner- probably best known for playing SharkBoy in the movie Adventures of SharkBoy and LavaGirl)- unless he really grows up a lot before they film the next movie (I'm hoping/assuming they will film the entire series), he won't look nearly mature enough for New Moon.

I mentioned that a few pages ago about the actor playing Jacob. Someobdoy replied that the producers planned to recast the role if New Moon was made.

I loaned out my copy of Twilight to one of my students. When she gives it back, I'll give her New Moon and reread Twilight and so on until Breaking Dawn is released.

I'm still kind of annoyed that the series is so danged engaging. Not only were they a massive time suck (in a good way! I just never got a dern thing done around here while I was engroosed), but they DID have some flaws that drove me batty. I really wanted to not like them (I go against the grain a lot) but darn you Stephanie Meyer...ya got me.

One of my students was discussing the Edward vs. Jacob thing the other day (she's 13) and we were both gushing about how could anyone like Jacob better?? Her older sister (15) came by and said SHE liked Jacob better! We were floored. The girl's mom then confirmed that there is a bitter fued in the house at the moment over this very topic!

i, of course, love edward. i do believe bella needs jacob in her life but not as a boyfriend. at first i was like ""jacob and bella might work. it could be the best thing for her."" but i just finished rereading the books for the fourth time and i realize now that her and edward are made for each other. so with that being said i'll take jacob :]
