I borrowed a book in the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon that involves time travel and steamy (steeeeamy) romance It comes highly recommended and hope it'll tide me over till Breaking Dawn comes out.

I'd rather read a good book than watch TV or go to a movie most of the time.
However, I have so many books that didn't hook me for whatever reason that I hate to waste money on something not well written or un-entertaining.

I almost bought it yesterday My Walmart had put them out a day early. I did pick it up and look through the 1st chapter for BD , which I had already read thanks to CaribbeanPrincess

It comes with 2 iron on patches: TEAM EDWARD and TEAM JACOB!!!!! And the inside cover is a mini poster of the Breaking Dawn chess pawn! So it's worth the $$ to buy it. Although it's all over the "inter-web" by now for free for the frugally minded among us (me usually!).

I finished reading Twilight Thursday night, during commercial breaks of the Lost season finale. I managed to put off starting New Moon until Lost was over, but I've barely been able to put it down since, though I've had more work to do yesterday and today, so am not able to read that as quickly. I also got Eclipse in the mail yesterday, so I'll be able to start that as soon as I'm done reading New Moon. I also have the Host to read, though I'm going to finish reading New Moon and Eclipse before I start on that.

Yep, was at Barnes and Noble early this afternoon. Read the chapter without too many strange looks, even though I was sitting on a little chair in the kids section!

Lol! I found an empty aisle and sat on a stepstool. I made DH stand in front of me "browsing" so I wouldn't feel so stupid!

My DD(16) went to B&N to read the chapter. She said she got there and 2 other girls were doing the same thing, so they all just sat down in the aisle and read together. She said they were all laughing because they all were doing the same thing.

I always thought it sounded so lame (and this is coming from an AVID harry potter reader) and I finally went and bought it. I immediately had to get the next one, and then the third one! They were SO addicting. I cannot wait for the movie now.

So yeah I went to Borders and right there by the door was the Eclipse SE. So I casually pick it up and head on back to the Sci-Fi section where I am always alone. So there I am wandering around the Sci-Fi section with my nose firmly planted in the book. Almost walked into a couple kids looking at graphic novels.

After reading all I can ask is...is it August yet?

My DD wants one on the front and one on the back. She can't decide!

I got the book yesterday at Target. The register popped up with a note that said it couldn't be sold til 5/31 but they used 9999 for the upc and sold it to me anyway. My DD14 actually hugged me . We've read them all but they were from the library so now we own a copy of each (although that Twilight paperback is well-worn from being passed all around the Jr. High)

I just caved in and bought the SE, it was only $14 at Borders. And now I have a Team Edward shirt!!! I'll post pics later.
