TWILIGHT vampire book!!!!!

This thread was horrible, I can't believe I opened it up!!!! Just to let you all know how enabling you can be, I downloaded Twilight Thursday night (about 10 pm) on my Kindle, read through it and then Friday afternoon downloaded the next 3 books to this series. I finished Breaking Dawn at 3 o'clock this morning!!!! I am soooo sad to see the story end, I wish Stephenie Meyer would write a few more books to follow Bella and Edward through the next few decades! I can't wait for the movie. I've never been into vampire stories but after this series I think I'm hooked, any good selections I should read next???

It's the series that True Blood is based on. The books are really nothing like Twilight other than there is a human female protagonist that all the supernatural creatures gravitate towards. The books are very funny.

That is INSANE!!!! This is why we arent even going to TRY to go to Chicago to see him, I would be terrified of being ran over!!

Did anyone pick up their ENT WEEKLY today? Is it worth picking up?

It's the series that True Blood is based on. The books are really nothing like Twilight other than there is a human female protagonist that all the supernatural creatures gravitate towards. I'm not really a fan of the way they have done the pics. To me, the book is much more than just a romance, but that is the only way they are portraying it. It was that image that really kept me from picking up the books for a long time. Then again, I've never been a fan of EW type magazines.

On another note, my friend is stryign to get me to go to the midnight premiere Thursday night, but Friday I have t obe up at 7:30 to teach and then immediately after I'm making an 8 hour drive to Tennessee for the Lexicon event with my boyfriend. I think I will just have to wait.

I am so stoked for the Lexicon event though. They said they got a lot more response to the request for door prizes than they thought. They will even have a Bella bracelet and a Bella engagement ring!

I did!!! Taking a group of 15 year olds with me, will be in line early to get great seats- but yeah, we did make sure to buy our tickets already!! (I dont know who is more excited- me or them??!!)

Why does Rob Pattison always look like he just rolled out of bed? He looks ewwww, and dirty and skeezy and ewwwww to me. I am soooooo not impressed (and I love Johnny Depp-go figure)

I do like him better when he is clean-cut and groomed.

I actually think that he is trying to look that way so he will be seen as someone "different" and more than just a pretty face. He wants to be taken seriously and not as just a sex symbol so I think he tries to look scruffy and unkempt.

It's not working on me though because I still think he is gorgeous!
