My DDs liked the film enough to go more than once but said it's not as good as the books. I thought I was maybe just a little too old to see it at the cinema with every other customer being a teenager so I am eagerly awaiting the DVD which we've pre-ordered. Although I don't know how much of the dialogue I will hear with all the oohing and aahing there will be over Edward.

I made DH go with me - he was mortified There was us and a cinema full of teenagers screaming over Edward I was warned not to join in

He does loads more stuff in the book like going into space and it doesn't have the emotional impact of the film.

I'm probably around 3/4 thru the book now and loving it. I'm really hoping i find out more about the cullens and i don't get if mr and mrs cullen are what edward and his siblings are??? (trying not to say much as dont want to spoil anything).

I darent google Twilight as im worried that there will be spoilers, but i have seen the trailer of the film. Is the film just about the 1st book?

I saw the film first, sometimes I think that is best as you appreciate the film for what it is, as books are normally better.
