I got into reading last year and read all of sophie kinsellas books, plus a few others, but just started Twilight and it is one of the best books i've ever ever read!

Anyone else reading it?

I have read all the twilight books and loved them :thumbsup2

Seriously, the book changed my life. I'm totally in love with Edward Cullen.:lovestruc My mum thinks i'm mad for liking the Twilight series. I have read them through god knows how many times. :goodvibes:goodvibes

I agree with you, they're totally awesome. I've got Natalie to read them. But my mum refuses to try them xD

With three Twilight obsessed DDs in the house it made sense to read the books ~ if only to understand what they were talking about!

Well, once I started I just couldn't put them down, hence why at one stage I wasn't around on the DIS very much! :rotfl: I really enjoyed them, especially Breaking Dawn.

I have read that first chapter of Midnight Sun and I can't wait for that to be published.

So are the next books part of the twilight series or seperate stories??

So glad to know there are other people who love the book!

There are 4 books in the series :thumbsup2

I read them all in two weeks - I just couldnt put them down. I was convinced I wouldn't like Twilight but I was soooooo wrong.

Enjoy :)

I made the mistake of looking up Twilight on Wikipedia and it told me what happened in all the books before I knew it so it spoilt it for me.:sad2:

I have read a book by Susan Hubbard that had vampires surviving in the modern day which was interesting, not a horror story or anything. The Society of S it was called.

Recently just finished a book by Amanda Ashley called Night's Kiss which is the first in a series of 4 following on from each other. I couldn't put this book down and again it was more about the 'human side if you like' of vampires coping in a human world again not a horror story or anything, more romance.

I love these books! Once I start reading them I have to finish them, although I skipped New Moon last time, it's not my favourite.

Midnight Sun is pretty good too, nice to see Edwards side of things, I'd like to read a New Moon version of it to see what he got up to!

Has anyone seen the film? I haven't , I have an image of the characters in my head and am worried that the film will ruin it!

I have its ok, but the books are soo much better :goodvibes

My DD has the books and I've been meaning to start them, looks as though I should as they sound great :)

I have never known DD read a book but she can't put the down either. She has seen the film loads getting all her friends to go with her. she had pre ordered the dvd!!! She is totally addicted.

I'm on chapter 11 of the first book, brilliant!!!

My DDs liked the film enough to go more than once but said it's not as good as the books. I thought I was maybe just a little too old to see it at the cinema with every other customer being a teenager :rotfl2: so I am eagerly awaiting the DVD which we've pre-ordered. Although I don't know how much of the dialogue I will hear with all the oohing and aahing there will be over Edward. ;)

I saw the film then got all the books, and I love them, I've got the DVD on pre-order. Looking forward to the second film and the book with Edwards view.
