Twilight - Book or movie?

i think the movie's gonna be great and i know it's gonna be different from the book but what i like about movies is that you step into a different person's perspective of the book and you really see how they felt about it. you also get to see how that person wanted everything to work out. and even though this director's perspective is totally different from mine, i can still see how it works out.

the only thing i'm not liking about this movie so far is that they're making it seem like the vampires can fly... that's about it. i know it's probably just making them jump and because they're so strong they can seem to be flying but i just don't like that.

but yes, excited for the movie; totally!

The book is amazing.
I know the movie isn't going to be as good and probably never will.

I think the only person cast correctly in this movie is Carlisle. He looks just like I pictured him. The rest...meh. They just don't fit. I'd rather see Gaspard Ulliel as Edward.

I'm not all that excited for the movie. I'll read Breaking Dawn when it comes out, but I'm not looking forward to going to see Twilight in theaters. Oh, I'll go. I'll just regret it later. Because movies always ruin books for me.

Ill definetetly like the books better. No matter what the movie is like. But at least they'll have all the books published before the movie comes out.

I'd have to see the movie first, but we have to remember that the book is in Bella's point of view. They can't do that for a movie. Such as the big fire scene at the ballet studio, how do we know if it happened? Bella was unconscious. There will be differences, that's expected. But I'm excited.

the book is always better than the movie.
in your head you picture your own bella and edward, and then the people they pick never can measure up to what you imagined.
therefore the books are always better.
plus most of the time they cut or add parts to the film which don't hold true to the book.

I could see Jesse Spencer as Carlisle. Definately. But he'd have to cut his hair because I can't see Carlisle with long hair...and Jesse cutting his hair makes me kinda sad.

And the poster who said he reminds you of Cedric Diggory, yes!! I can see that totally. Robert just isn't Edward.

I usually hate books-turned-into-movies.

Like The Princess Diaries movies. NOTHING like the books D: D: D: D:
