I don't mean to be a "deputy downer" and I am not a tweeter either.

Having said that........have any of you watched the news?

People are opening themselves up for problems by allowing their schedules to be public. In my hometown a single woman actually traveled to WDW....she was tweeting from the airport, from her dinners at WDW.....even as she was getting on rides. Finally, she tweeted that she was at the airport coming home.

When she arrived home.....it was empty. Apparently they didn't even have to rush....because the bad guys knew she was on Space Mountain at WDW. The backed a moving truck up to the house and took when they wanted....had all day to do it.

There are just too many creative bad guys around. I remember reading the article in the paper and the police sources said to not publish travel information anywhere - even places you consider safe.

Heck, there are websites so bad guys can SHARE this information on neighborhoods more convenient.

.......just thought you should know.....the other side of tweeting according to Maryland police.

I've heard about things like that before. If I was leaving my house empty, I wouldn't be tweeting or facebooking about it. But luckily there is always someone home when I'm away so I'm not worried.
