I called and politely asked to speak with billing. I discussed my phone/cable/Internet bundle contract has ended and the price went up $20.00. I mentioned I was being wooed by other cable offers but had been happy with their service but wondered if any promotions would be available. Yes, I was! No change in plan but $37.50 less a month for the next year ($450.00 a year savings).
No contract so I can drop services with no penalty.
It definitely paid to call and ask.
