That was my parents when they first moved down. I remember they came home for Thanksgiving and I had to take them shoping for coats
I think that's a lot of us! And back then, no one sold coats, etc. down here. Nowadays, Target carries lots of cold weather gear.
I took this idea from you and do the same for Jimmy!
I'm pretty sure I stole it from someone else on the DIS, too!
Uh, yeah....let's not revisit that, shall we. I think I'm still trying to thaw.
Yeah, and this Dec. certainly hasn't helped, has it?! OMG, I just got my electric bill for Dec.
That whole seating thing at CHH? We experienced the same thing at Pecos Bill's...with a party of 12.

Yeah. Debacle. I'm not sure what they're thinking but I don't think it's working.

Just wait - we get another taste of it...
OMG! What an awesome update. Well written!
Thank you!
Love the SM story. Sounds like reaction my youngest son would have. Actually...he had a similar one when sledding with me once. We flew off the trail. Me.. laughing, getting up to brush myself ofr was met with a scowling "THAT was NOT FUN!!!!" by my son.

I can totally picture it!
Love that ridemax worked well for you. We use it and are always amazed at what can be accomplished by staying on "the plan".
I love playing "Beat the Clock" with the Ridemax plans - trying to get ahead of its estimated times of arrival, lol!
I can honestly say that you were my night night read.
Oh no, my writing put you to sleep?!?!
From one born and raised northern girl to another...
COMMON- Puffy coats and UGGs in FL?
REALLY?
What was the temp?
Okay, first of all, it was in the 30s, contrary to what Janet would have you think! Second of all, I think Buffalonians wound up with their climate by accident - we aren't from hearty stock like up in Minnesota, lol! We hibernate through the winter and pull out those down jackets when the temp. dips below 50.
Girlfriend, our current temp is...
wait for it.
-21* and there is sun today!
See now, tha'ts not "cold"... that's freaking INSANE!
OMy I thought that was our girl T. {Granted I KNOW our girl might not own gloves...er even Khakis for that matter. but still.

T DOES own gloves, though - check my signature!
ETA: Never mind - you can't see her hands. But she does!
When my little brother (8 years old at the time) tried it, he had a similar, though slightly milder, reaction. He reserved the dramatic one for RNR. Face white as a ghost, holding onto the wall to walk, then promptly declaring "I am NEVER!! going. on. that. thing. AGAIN!!".

What is it with these boys and their theatrics?!
