I think 50% off is a steal from what I've heard about how much the kids are enjoying the Pirates League. I booked for my DD8 and DS4. I thought about just doing it for DS4 but "hypothetically" brought up the idea for our "next trip" and they both would like to. I think I like being sneaky.

Oh yeah, $50.00 for two, that is a steal! We are booked for Dec 21st at 10:20! I think they will get a kick out of it -- especially if the reception that the OLD set of blasted plastic swords received is any indication! That they get a new sword is enough to keep them still while their make up is applied -- and my DS4 has been wearing his vampire teeth from Halloween for the past week

I wonder if we'll bump into each other?! I'll be lookin' for other pirates!

Oh and raider97 - I just realized it is your 10th anniversary trip! Congratulations! We are celebrating our 15th on Dec. 16th (the day we leave for Disney). When does yours fall?

You afternoon sounds fun! I actually had to swap our time, to 12:40 b/c we won't make it back on time from brunch... We are going to Ohanas for dinner that night, and back over to MK for the evening festivities!

List - O - Ramas!!


So we are getting closer and closer to our December Trip. Each time I start to think about it I get caught up in “oh we have a ways to go” and then it starts to set in and I realize, “holy cow! When am I going to get this all done!” So I have been making lists, but now I am ready to start seriously planning these things out.

So today I am going to share a few “LISTS” for the count down to our Disney Christmas…
I have two “to-do” lists… One is strictly packing, pre-vacation related – laundry, packing, etc. "ho hum" -- I have not finished that list. The second includes a variety of things I have to do specific to the trip … It is a much more interesting list to start with!!!

Here we go:

Design new TShirts and make them (two sets, a red set and a green set)
I have been working on this already, trying to decide what to make exactly, I have been nosing around on the DISign thread...

Order gift cards – Lego and Disney
I definitely want to get gift cards, but I can’t decide if I should get a specialty store card or just Disney dollars… I suspect I will have found a good deal on the Lego sets by the time Christmas rolls around, so a Lego gift card might be too much of a good thing

Find an artificial tree – 4 – 5 ft and some lights
Maybe the Mickey peppermint lights? I plan to pick up a small tree for our Villa from Target or Michaels. I really like the Mickey head peppermint lights, they are so cute!!

Buy Mickey wrapping paper
Just in keeping with the theme of course!!!! I will have some gifts to wrap and bring with us, and I saw a cute roll of paper at Target

Stuff “surprise stockings”
I have squirreled away quite a collection of stuff for the stuffing! I hope it all fits

Create Pirate’s League invites
I have to find this somehow – I think I have seen someone who makes them on the DIS-ign board…

Revamp/update and laminate trip binder
(Basically finish my cover, daily itineraries, holiday info, etc.) I have created a Christmas-themed cover and have been pouring over TGM’s special itinerary articles and details for the Holiday season. I am slowly typing out my itineraries… they look good, just adding final details, and checking all my times and #s for ADRs. TGM added the new park hours for our week, so I have to go back and make modifications. This will all go into my binder.

Double Check all ADRs – numbers, times, etc.
I made so many and then cancelled some, then made others, and changed things and I have not really looked at them for a while – since it was several weeks ago, so I have to make sure I have it all down right! This will happen before I finish all my binder "insides"!!!

Make count-down calendar
I have the materials, now I just need an idea!

All this Disney Christmas stuff makes me wish I was going too LOL!! Although I will have a Disney themed tree this year and will be ordering some ornaments very very soon!!!!
