TVs in resorts

We're booked at CSR.

Just wondering what type of shows/channels you get on the tv. Mostly for night-time when the kids have gone to sleep.

Also, can you get disney movies for the kids?

Yep Disney is pretty limited as far as your channel options (as in you will find no pay per view movies, or hbo channels. I believe this is because most people are not really to interested in the resort tv as most spend majority of time in the parks and such. They are very much in abundance with the Disney channel, toon disney, and such that the children should have no problems finding disney shows to watch.

Even though Disney seems to have alot of channels, movie selections are slim, we like a good movie to unwind with at night. Thank heavens for portable DVD players, we use ours on the Amtrak down and watch it exclusively while at the resort. We purchase some unseen DVD's at home and load up with all our favorites, we bring all the necessary cables to hook to the TV and never had any problems. I always felt Disney was missing the boat on not having pay-per-view options or having DVD players in the rooms with an area to rent movies, there are some of us who enjoy commercial free movies and TV in the late evenings.

Is there a channel for the classic Disney cartoons they show in the lobby? I didn't see it on the list and we couldn't find it on our TVs, but I read somewhere on the Dis that it's there and you just have to enter the channel number to get to it.

There are also two channels that just continuously play Disney animated movies all day and all night. Once the movie ends it rolls right into the next. It was good for us because there was always something on.

They used to have a channel for that, but it was removed awhile ago. Not sure why, it was a great channel! Not sure what number it "was".
