we taped a few things xmas day to watch today.
have noticed a lot of over runs recently
we had Doctor who which ran for the correct timmings listed.but when watching royal family it started 7 min late.lukily i taped next program but this seams to be happang a lot recently
Last week it was gerraldene thingy on c4 whih cut short it crowd,and have always noticed it on corrie for ages
Anyone elce found this irratateing?

Yep I've noticed it too. It drives me mad, why is Sky+ not able to adjust to it accordingly? :confused3

Sky+ should pad the recording at the start and end anyway - check in Services -> Sky+ Setup and see what your Add To Start and Add To End are set to.

The only other way Sky+ can adjust is if the broadcasters update their EPG when they are running late.
 
BBC were running late yesterday because SCD overan despite it being pre-recorded :confused3

Yes our boxes are set to 5 minutes before and 10 minutes after :)
