tv remote code help

first off I applozie for my spelling since im tired (still) from my MRI (dang drugs).

So:
I got a 32 inch tv from a second hand store (and it works and was $20 bucks) so i figured since its a rca that my remote would work. So now ive got a philips unerversal remote. only numbers on it are cl035a and 38/08. I dont have the code book and not much clue about the tv except that its manafacurted in 1988. any clue where to find the codes?

Google the make & model of your TV along with "remote codes". That's how I've done it when I couldn't find the owner's manual.

There is also a way to set the remote without a code. Look in the manual for your new remote and it will tell you how.

my remote is a Philips SRU3003/27
my codes are....
0704, 0002, 0406, 0007, 0011, 0611, 0811, 0312, 0514, 0720, 0102, 0502, 0601, 0817, 0917, 0835, 0901, 0103, 0803, 0211, 0912, 0114, 0519, 0320, 0420

And none of them work GRRR!

Uh, just checking: You should be looking up codes based on the manufacturer of your television, not the manufacturer of the remote.
