TV shows from your youth that brings you right back to Earth?

For me:

Bagpuss
The Clangers
The Herbs
Ivor the Engine
The Magic Roundabout
Mary Mungo and Midge
Flower Pot Men

Facts of Life
CHiPs
TJ Hooker
Simon and Simon
Diff'rent Strokes
Gimme a Break
Magnum PI
Dukes of Hazzard (don't judge)

80's kid, eh? The 80's were the best!

I was more into cartoons, and have covered the exemplary 80's toy commercials cartoons before. For Live action shows, I liked:

Knight Rider
A-Team
Dukes
CHIPs
Buck Rogers
The Muppet Show
The Cosby Show
Perfect Strangers
Night Court

I recently discovered there is a stream on The Roku Channel shows nonstop Price is Right episodes from the early 80's - man, is that addictive! Bob in his prime and Johnny O, with Janice, Diane, & Holly. I love watching them give away some wacky stuff that would never be on there today - lots of retro furniture, even light airplanes! I loved the cherry red '82 Camaro! I also loved that it was going for like $7,800!

beanie and cecil
captain kangaroo
romper room
charley and humphrey :lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc
the monkees

lots of soap operas and talk shows cuz my mom watched them (not much kid's programming back then and when i was a kid i didn't know a single soul who had more than one t.v. in their home so parental programming choices took top priority).

The original Mickey Mouse Club with The Adventures of Spin & Marty, the Hardy Boys

DH has been watching re-runs of The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.

One of my earliest TV memories (along with Sesame Street, The Friendly Giant, and Mr. Dress-Up) was Tales of the World of Oz.

Saturday morning cartoons were great. We watched shows like Chico the Rainmaker, The Hilarious House of Frightenstein (Billy Van was a wonder!), Spider-Man and News from Zoos. Sundays were always The Wonderful World of Disney.

After school shows included Bewitched, Gilligan's Island, and I Dream of Jeannie.
As I got older, there were shows like Emergency!, The Swiss Family Robinson, Battlestar Galactica, Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew, Facts of Life, and Space 1999.

Dukes of Hazzard (don't judge)
I'm not judging! Every Saturday night, we made Chef Boyardee Pizza (the kind that comes in the box with the dough mix and sauce), watched Dukes of Hazard, and then popped popcorn and drank Pick-a-Pop.

I also forgot to add Family Ties to my list. Michael J. Fox has held a small piece of my heart for decades now.

From late 40’s to middle 50’s
