My DS's requested we bring the PS2 for our Dec. trip. (Yes, they are very excited!)

We will be in a studio at VWL for 8 nights. Has anyone ever connected one to the TV @ the VWL? My technician (DH ) is not going so I will have to do it myself if it can be done. Will I have to move the entertainment unit to access the back of the TV?

It would be nice to have since we won't have a DVD player in a studio, that is the only reason I am even entertaining the idea. LOL

The tv in the studio we stayed in last month at VWL did not have any component connections unlike the tv's at the studios at SSR. If you use an RF converter to connect it to the cable/ant. in, you should be able to play the PS2 using the tv. We have a portable DVD player that we connect to tv's while in the rooms and I was disappointed that we could not use it.:(

Last Christmas at the VWL we could connect a Game Cube on the tv in the living room section of our 2BR but not in the connecting studio section. The tv's were different and I didn't bring the RF converter with us.

Now, wait a minute. I heard that BCV had DVD players. Isn't that correct?

Are you saying they don't have them at VWL?

I think most DVC units still have VCR's but the move is on to change them all over to DVD's. I'd guess it'll take 2 or 3 years to do so, especially if they wait until planned refurbishment and just replace the odd one when it breaks.

Thanks! Will I have to move the TV from the wall or is it the kind that hooks up in the front. I will ask DH to make sure I have one of those RF thingies.

CVW, the studios do not have DVD players. The 1,2 and GV units all have DVDs. It's like that throughout the onsite DVC Resorts.

You will have to move the tv, but the studio tv's are pretty small. ;)
